EcLiPsE
Hello there ^_^I just want to ask, how to make doors…I know that I can use the attribute "Door" but if I use the door on Tile 1 the first one you see, it doesn't work =(It's because one part of the door opens then, and the other part stays and doesn't open :(Can anyone help me?I hope, that I gave important information, ask me, if you don't know what I wrote ^_^My english isn't that good. But thanks for those people, which answer it =)Thanks
emblem
Currently, the engine can only "open" one tile as a door. So if your door is two tiles high they won't both open, only the bottom tile will.
EcLiPsE
and how can I change it?
emblem
You can't. At least not until someone programs the engine to open more than one tile.
shadowwulf
make door and ceiling 'roof' tiles.Map inside of house normally like the outside area…when players walk in, the door and roof go away and they are now inside <-=WIN
Driocku
@~SW~:> make door and ceiling 'roof' tiles.> Map inside of house normally like the outside area…> when players walk in, the door and roof go away and they are now inside <-=WINFail :D He wanted to know how to have the tiles change when a player went near them, and since door only works with 1 tile it would require he edits the source :P
Admiral Refuge
@Draiko:> Fail :D He wanted to know how to have the tiles change when a player went near them, and since door only works with 1 tile it would require he edits the source :PIf he simply wanted the tile to change when goes on it, just have a scripted tile do the work; no source needed. shadowwulf
@ Draikoyou missed the point. He wanted to make a door go away…The door... and a roof also go away. Its a much better method then warping into another map. After 1000+ maps i would know.
