Updater.

Hello I whould like an updater to run before main menu. Something before the loading thing. any ideas plz post thx in advance :D

first of all no offense to the owner… and dont start flaming but the way the updater works is retarded.... how am I supposed to edit client while I dont have access to it? If I could have access to edit client (like edit the txts) than I whould propably not use an updater.... I have see another updater http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,39403.0.html wich doesnt work. Anyone wich willing to help me? xD

The autoupdater does work if you follow the directions in the tutorial. It won't work if you do not edit the client which you need vb6 for.

Most updater require some sort of source edit except for the updater marsh made I think.

Most updaters don't, unless of course you want them to be integrated.

Use traid. read manual ( read) And Learn how to upload files to a site. or use ftp.

Hmm yea, i guess you are right, sorry for the misconception.
