pRoX
Finally got around to doing another map, and this time instead of just doing a random map I thought I'd make a starter map. This should be the town players first see when they start playing, so I didn't want to make it too big in order to have some space for monsters and a good number of quests. The town includes a blacksmith, tailor, potion/food vendor, and a town hall. Not everything is symmetrical or perfect, but I did my best! Tell me what you guys think. :)
L0lz
it looks alright, just get more creative with the tiles, add more plants, flowers, and other stuff for the town.
pRoX
Yeah, like my previous map, everything in there has a purpose. A lot of times I see maps that are just random trees or houses all crammed together just to fill space. With NPCs in the map, it just ends up being a clutter fest. Things like the single pink flower, will be the first quest players get. Or the Mage Tower in the middle of the water, which will contain a quest to become a wizard, are all there for a reason. I just want the map to be clear and flow well. :)P.S: cool I'm being watched? lol
