Just run the application (or in this case, the installer) and install it.I haven't noticed any side effects except for sometimes the IDE crashes when shutting down VB6 applications in the IDE (which makes the IDE stop responding, forcing you to close it). Ruins of Hell Posted October 3, 2009 Share Posted October 3, 2009 I found out how to do it, go to the folder, find visual_basic_6.exe and right click it, click extract, and wait.Then open up SETUP.EXE and type in the product key wait for it to download, then go to VB98 and click VB6.exe, it should load up correctly, done.
