Displaced
you don't need to change this, because the router forwards all packages to this ip …
azkanan
The server console displays the IP that it is connected to - which, if you are on a router, is your address given to you by your Router.Router: 192.168.1.1Network User #1: 192.168.1.2Network User #2: 192.168.1.3Etc.Network User –> Router --> Internet IP --> Internet192.168.1.2 --> 168.1.1 --> 59.230.173.49 --> Internet AccessStep 1, You connect to your router.Step 2, Router gives you access to the Router (192.168.1.2+)Step 3, The router connects you to the internet (xx.xxx.xxx.xx (59.230.173.49 Example))Step 4, You are connected to the internet.~~~~~~~~~I hope this is helpful. Xzhu
Even tho i use the IP for the Client aswell it works and says "Online"…So.. Is the IP what says there is pritty much the IP i use for other peeps to connect?
azkanan
@Xzhu:> Even tho i use the IP for the Client aswell it works and says "Online"…> So.. Is the IP what says there is pritty much the IP i use for other peeps to connect?Think of a Router as a border. You are in country A, and the "peeps" are in Country B.For peeps to get to Country A, they need to go through your router. For you to get to Country A, you're already through your router.People in Country A don't need to "cross the border", or, use the Router IP.People in Country B need to "cross the border", or, use the IP you are connected through, that the router has given you from the internet. So, in short, people need to use your internet IP, and you use your router IP.Just thought the above example would help you remember in the future. :) router ip = Anything beginning with 192.168.internet ip = Anything beginning with any other numbers. azkanan
As I said in the above example about the whole Border thing, *you* connect to the game, using your Router IP.Meanwhile, everybody else uses the IP Chicken IP.
