CameronF
Hello, My name is Cameron Faulkingham. I have run and played around with the Eclipse engine quite a bit and I come on here to actually start my own project. Now I see that I can put a nice littl epost here and offer my services.I can help you in any way possible. I have my Own Server Box Out in my Garage (Loud as hell). It is a very good peice of equipment and I have run many servers off it before. Such as Ventrilo servers with over 100 people in it. There was no lag.Anyway, I would just like to show you a couple of Images of the Specs of the Server Box.![](http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/6322/hostscreenie1.png)![](http://img64.imageshack.us/img64/5465/hostscreenie2.png)The Specs and the Bandwidth is wonderful for running any sort of game server on this Server Box.I really have enjoyd having it and I would like to help some people out by offering free hosting. Thought I want to know that you're commited to making a great game.Other things I can offer whoever I'm hosting for? I can't offer much but hosting. My Mapping skills are alright but not the greatest. So how much is this going to really cost is I would just like Admin status on your Game. That's it. It's free of charge except for a small favor in return. Now, I have a friend who get Domains cheap. I don't know how he does it, but he does. And he has I guess Reseller hosting so he can give you hosting too. So he can get me a free Domain and webhost for you. This will ONLY be after you have proved you're commited to making a game. I'm commited to getting this for you, YOU ahve to be commited to making a game. I don't want to have a domain bought for you so that you can just say "Hmmm I give up I'm gonna go watch porn. Please take my Game down.".The Hosting is good, the two website he has given me have 100GB of space and 1TB Bandwidth. So start adding me and I'll accept someone sometime! So add me on MSN [email protected]. xelander
It's alot of free hosters now a day, but everyone has under 10 posts…
CameronF
Yeah, I took a look at some of the other hosters. I noticed they had no post count either. What does post count really count though. I've never seen why people focus so much on post count. Join date is all I worry about. Although I only joined last night.I figure someone might want me as their hoster. I don't know.
Guest
Im just using post count as a thing to use as time spent.
CameronF
I could have a post count of 100 in ten minutes…. So how does that show time spent?
Cyprien
There are many people who would love to have someone to host there game for what ever odd reason. However people have a hard time trusting people who not got very active in the community. The only reason why people say anything is to warn them in-case they haven't notice. The join date doesn't really matter you could be here from the start of eclipse.Yet no one would really know who you are due to you not post anything or got to know people.Yes, while post counts do help tell if someone is somewhat active in the community their not very reliable but at least offer some help. There are many reason why people should be careful about who they allow to host there games. When host a server you control more then even the owner him/her self.Ps. Also you could have 100 post in ten minutes but mostly you would end up banned, for spamming.
CameronF
> Ps. Also you could have 100 post in ten minutes but mostly you would end up banned, for spamming.I loled.I think I have proven myself. I know a lot of people worry about hosts stealing the server and getting so power hunger they basically take it over. I understand I used to have an RSP server and I had it taken from me by someone I trusted. Anyway it's your choice not mine.

CameronF
Tipsta can think what he wants. Anyone can think what they want. Really I have no problem with other people opinions. I use them to help myself not to discourage myself.
Jarvis
Hey CameronF.. Don't let it get to you. Many people here are just very over protective of their hard work. You mentioned having one of yours stolen from someone you trusted, so you should pretty much understand. It's not that people don't trust you, it's just that you're new to the community, for all we know you could be a formerly banned person. Being new to the community, we have no idea who you are or how your behavior is. Give it awhile. I'm sure after being a member for quite some time and establishing yourself in this community, you'll start to build trust and respect. On another note, what is the location for this server of yours? Rithy58
Woah, nice server there. Although I still beat you :PI have a server running Window XP Pro with 3.2Ghz Processor, 4GB RAM, SATA II Hard Drive.Internet Speed is around 20-30mpbsBut my computer I'm using right now have almost the same spec as your server except it have 2.7ghz Dual-Core.Anyway, I'm wondering about something. Do you really think people would trust you with their files if you're not so familiar?I suggest you get well known first and get trust from people.I do offer hosting on my server to 3 Private Servers and currently 1 MS-Based Engine. And I didn't really have to earn their trust. They pay me so if I do something stupid, I won't get paid. You need some kind of proof that prove you're trust worthy.Sincerely,Rithy

demon xxx x
Cameron, I have some questions to ask you, mainly about if you can set up MySQL along with the server if it's not too much, also have TeamViewer available in case I ever need to physically go in and change some stuff when you're busy, or if I need to update a file quickly.Add me on MSN and I'll get in bigger depth with it.
