im new. i downloaded v 2.7, the library files, and the el2 or whatever. i opened the el2 thing and i did what it had to do. now i clicked a file called client. it has 2 Es as its icon. i opened up and then it said its offline. i waited a while and i tried again. nothing. so can someone plz help me.

Go to the EE2.7 folder and then click Server, then find server.exe and run it.

Go to the folder before the client folder, click the server folder, then scroll until you find "server" (w/o quotes).

Also, don't post multiple topics.

all of them are empty

Also, empty? Did you extract the whole thing?

That's the **Client** folder. Before you double-click to go in there, there should be another folder called **Server**. Double-click on that one and run Server.exe.

You're horrible at using Eclipse. ;)

Close out of your folder window.
Open the EE2.7 folder.

NOT
the client folder, open the SERVER folder.

If you still don't understand, then delete System32 folder, that will make everything clear.XD

2.when i press the player tab, im not there, how do i addme

What's in your scripts folder Server-side XD

And you should show up on the players list unless:
You are not logged on the client
Or
You have 2 servers open (check your taskbar to check fif there is 2 server icons)

theres no 'client' folder or 'server' folder

the main client is there, but not the other important thing thAT LETS ME make and log into a character
