wolverine79936
Hi again. Trying to figure out how to make animated tiles for an ocean. But when I click on the animated button for a layer on my map, all I get is a flashing water tile. I can't seem to get it to display any others. I tried multiple layer animations, but haven't gotten anywhere. Do I need to script this or something? If so, how do I go about that… I can't find any tutorials on animated tiles. :(
SHADERS
You see. What the flashing animation does is create "2-layer" animation. You place one ocean tile like on ground or mask layer. then you use the animation on top of that. So it seems like it is animated.

Medleyy
I've already searched through tonnes of tutorials to see if there is one for animation layers, and so far to no avail. Animated water is a feature on CS:DE though. If you're really serious about needing an animation layer, buy a copy from Robin on the CS forums. You just need to donate £40 or more, I think. And he made it explicitly clear that you can't get a copy through th Eclipse forums, so seriously don't ask.
