BelialSempai
Hey there! As the title states, I am wondering if there is a way to do this.I tried searching around, and I didn't really see anything relating to it.Basically what I am trying to do is take a .dat map made on one Eclipse Stable engine and move it to another, without having to re-create the map..This would help greatly with offline editing.I tried just transferring them from one map file to another (with little hope of success) and ended up with an RTE when trying to access that map number.I've been busting my brain on this, but it is out of my knowledge range! :embarrassed:Does anyone have any idea if this is even possible?I might have to move it to the wish section.Anyway any help or ideas to try are greatly appreciated! Thanks,~Belial Sempai <
Keebler Elf
If you could say what engine it would help.
Gohan
Hey Belial, if you mean transfer the maps Eclipse Stable > Eclipse Stable I'm guessing it'd be easy to simply copy/paste the map codes from one engine to another. That MIGHT work if you mean say, 2.8 > Stable since the latter is just a debugged version.(Come to think of it I should try that o.o)Good luck Belial with all that's happened at CC
Robin
If you can't copy & paste the files across then there's a chance that the UDT changed. You can't put them across without converting them, in this case.
Kinjiru
I did this without a problem (Stable> Sams Edit), you should just be able to copypastaBut I dont help "companies" who refuse to help others
