teh jimpie
hello,is it possible to remove the "black" background on the custom menu picture? Kimimaru
In order to get rid of the black box, you would need to use the **SetMaskColorFromPixel** statement on any pixel of black so that DirectX would make that specific color transparent. However, before that, you would need to declare and set the surface appropriately. Then, you would need to blit the graphics onto the screen in DirectX. So yes, you do need to edit the source to get rid of the black background.
Robin
Making a masked picture box through scripting or API is impossible. You'd need to program the entire thing in DD7.
