Hi I was wandering if this is possible, I want the npcs to have a chat box just like the players when  they talk, how do I do this in source or if I can do it with scripting. I need to know how to give spells to players how do I do this thanks

First thing, I think we need the version of eclipse you're using…  Second, A little more detail because I can't quite understand what you're asking...  You want textbox that pertains to an NPC but how exactly do you want it and what are the functions?  I believe it is possible to make a chatbox in scripts but I believe also that sourcing it will be more effective XD...  Last, what do you mean by "give spells to players"  Like as in item form?  If so use the GiveItem(Index, ITEM, VAL) sub and give the spell to that person in the scriptednpc sub...  Thats simple...  But like I said, please explain more I may be able to help  :azn:

Hi thanks for your replay, sorry about my spelling im a fast typer what I want is when u press the ctrl key to talk and a message bobble will open and dishpay the message. I hop that helps and thanks for the help on the spells it works oh and i using Eclipse Stable 1.3

I'm pretty late on my reply here but YES!  It is very possible and a good idea actually.  Original and functional.  Go for it bud I has faith in you XD
