I want a new game

I'm looking for a good game to buy from steam. Any good ones? I have been looking at Counter Strike Source. Is it any good? Also, what is Gary's MOD?

garrys mod is basically an empty canvas and a bunch of tools to work with. It's awesome if you love building stuff, but you can also just buy it for the huge amount of gamemodes on online servers. It's basically an infinite amount of games for the price of one. But if you get it, you should probably get CS:S too, since a lot of stuff in gmod requires the CS:S models and textures.

CS:S is fun too, but it can get boring really soon compared to Gmod.

If you get Garrys Mod, it's best to also have The Orange Box and CSS as most of the gamemodes need that stuff.

I could list games, but there'd be too many. Just search and see what grabs your fancy.

Steam is good but I wouldn't recommend an RPGShooter or a Shooter style game for you, recently I had a craving for some good games, there was/is a sale on Mount & Blade series but I;d recommend anyof these Steam/Non Steam games which I am currently playing:

Mount & Blade : Warband,
Baldur's Gate 1 + 2 + Ex
Oblivion IV
Warcraft 2 + 3
Neverwinter Nights 1 + 2

Play those.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R series. They are a must buy – just get the Complete mods for SoC and CS.

Also, if you can wait a month, get Civ IV, if you can wait two, get New Vegas, if you can wait six, get Portal 2, if you can wait thirty-two, get Half Life 2: Episode 3.
