Another way to register a file is to do this
1\. download your file that isn't registered
2.go to RUN
3\. type in cmd
4\. then once you open the command prompt type in 'regsvr32 [file not registered]'
(no brackets or apostrophes)
then you should have registered it :D

This does work. For the record, ELIS does the same thing for you.
