it doesnt read it
it doesnt show when i try using it for npcs

well
you have to put it as big npc depending which version of eclipse you're using.

But i also imagine you're not restarting your client after adding them…

If i am correct, you are trying to make it your NPC's sprite right?

Well in that case, you will want to do the following:

Step 1:
Navigate to "[INSTALL LOCATION]\Eclipse-Stable\Client\GFX\"

Step 2:
Copy that image that you wanted to use and save it in there.

Step 3:
Rename "BigSprites.bmp" to "BackupBigSprites.bmp"

Step 4:
Then rename the sprite sheet that you copied over there to "BigSprites.bmp".

You will need to restart the client for the changes to take place.

I hope this helped! Please reply there is another way if this one does not work.

HUH? i Dont EVEN have a GFX folder,
its called graphics and i put it into the character sub folder?!?!?!

well then you need to split the sprite sheet up into individual sprites. go to Client/Graphics/Characters and put them in there.

It can't jsut be the whole image how it is. look hwo the other sprites are done

and no eclipse origins isn't old

well no that won't work. take your BMP, open it in paint. rip out sprites from it, i'm assuming the sizes will be 768x64 for each sprite. then save them as sprite5, sprite6 so on

To split the images easily all you have to do is use the image splitter.
