DnC Games Posted February 1, 2011 Author Share Posted February 1, 2011 Hi I'm new here and yes i have looked in fact i spent all day looking for a tutorial or other stuff that would help me either i missed something or just cant see it or it just isn't there so first i will ask the question then if anyone can point me to a tutorial or explain it in detail that would be great cause well i am kinda not good at figuring out the obvious lol ok here i goQuestion 1i am trying to make a GUI that will show up on the screen but have transparent partslike a lot of the online games out there that will hold a GFX that has the characters picand the hp/mp/exp barbelow is what i am trying to do but i want the pink to be transparent and it is on an pictureboxso if anyone can point me to the right direction or to a tutorial or explain how to do it in detailthat would be great and thank you ahead of time for any ones helpPROBLEM![](http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/5954/guitrouble.png)i would like to know how to make that pink part be transparent so please help meTools I UseEclipse OriginsVB6Windows Paint Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
elementaldisaster Posted February 1, 2011 Share Posted February 1, 2011 you could edit the image in an online image editor which has the "Magic Wand tool" which will make all of one color invisible, such as Sumo Paint (sumopaint.com) really easy to use tools.
