Guest
Okami style theme…comments?(The style is supposed to appear as if it were old styled japanese art. The shading is almost like it was painted with water colors.)...in case you all were wondering why the sketchy line art and color spaz...its just the style preference.![](http://i51.tinypic.com/20swrnt.png)![](http://i55.tinypic.com/287g8k8.png)Screenie:![](http://i55.tinypic.com/28ipzxs.png)Demon Realm:![](http://i53.tinypic.com/2a94kmx.png)
Joyce
Looks alright, but the bottom looks cut off and the swirly background makes it look really awkward.. Not quite sure if a game with such graphics wouldn't just cause severe headaches though.
Guest
The bottom is cut off because when I place the building on the ground tiles, I don't want two outlines conflicting with one another. (This is for a side scrolling project) The background is just a background for the image. I won't be using that in game. Thanks though.

Guest
looks good! I'll have to play with it. I'll get the ground done, and then put the building on it. I'll get opinions after. Red does look good! I think for the demon realm red will be nice :P
Irhymer
Cool! I'll wait for more of your watercolor tiles before I work on any sprite coloring. Will do the outlining for now. ;)
Guest
Update. Tis why the building did not have a bottom. Next I'll be working on different buildings.![](http://i55.tinypic.com/287g8k8.png)
Irhymer
Awesome! The colors and concept are cool, but I say round off the triangle grass a bit and connect the grass sections more, a little more then I did here:![](http://i.imgur.com/2maSa.png)edit:![](http://i.imgur.com/K8mXP.png)

Just something that I can finally finish, maybe with a very small community, and stick around on. I mean I'm going to be hosting this from my laptop. Its nowhere near going to be huge. Haha.EDIT:@[Jake:> link=topic=69666.msg749649#msg749649 date=1299414918]> Hows this?> ![](http://i.imgur.com/ufoVC.png)btw, you read my mind!…building from the demon realm:![](http://i53.tinypic.com/2a94kmx.png)
Anna Comnena
I like the style if your sprites will match it a little better than they do now; but with the thick outlines you'll want to avoid straight edge corners like on your floating ground tiles. I'll fix that no problem! I kind of still had my original retro theme going on while making these.
