I dont believe so shadow… I have not seen that setting in my server.

You might be able to do it from exchange console, but i never use the console commands.

I think the only way is from the user's account... either outlook itself or OWA.

shadow... i think you are screwed.
I tried looking too, and i found this answer to someone asking this question.

"You need access to a a user mailbox to be able to set OOF.  OOF is per-user and in Exchange 2007, we do not have a way to let 'helpdesk' set OOF on behalf of a user."
