emplay Posted April 21, 2011 Author Share Posted April 21, 2011 Okay I've never done this before and I need help.I have a backup of my computer on a disk. operating system and all.I have another computer that has nothing on it. Hard drive is blank.Is it possible to put the disk in the blank one and have everything install on the blank hard drive? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
renzo Posted April 21, 2011 Share Posted April 21, 2011 Only if the computer your imaging to has the same hardware as the one you backed up.Unless you are using a program like Acronis, then you can use the Universal Restore option.Otherwise, I think your going to need to do it the long way.
