Attack On Sight

I don't know if its just me being dumb, but i can't seem to get NPC's to attack on sight in EO, under the NPC editor i select attack on sight, click send, then reload the map but nothing happens. any idea why ?

Attack On Sight NPCs do not attack admins.

And don't you have to have them set at a certain sight, so the sight = how many tiles away they can see you I believe.

If you follow all the steps that everyone has said on this topic. You should be able to be attacked.

1# Remove your administrator access

2# Edit your NPC to attack on site. But remember to set in the range limitations.

3# Click send, and reload the map. And hopefully, run like hell so you dont die on what ever aggressive monster this is…..

No, that's the range. That affects how far the NPC can attack. Not how far it can see.

Wrong. It's how far an npc can see. It'll on be aggressive to people it can see.

Oh my mistake. I thought that range was how far it could attack, because I set the range on 5 and used a spell on an npc and it hit me from 5 squares away. Dos it affect both sight and the range of attack?

Npcs can only attack you when they're on an adjacent tile.
