With the departure of Robin (creator of the eclipse engine), the project will continue?
I have always followed and studied the work of the engine.

It would be a great loss if the project was over, one of the few really great 2D engines.

We are moving onto a C version of Eclipse that Admiral and Godlord are creating. Others have also stepped forward offering to continue Eclipse in vb6.

Robin was the latest developer but definitely not the first. There has been many developers and many more to come. Also he has stated that Origins is in a state where he does not want to update it and just leave it as a stable base.

I think you're a little confused: Eclipse Evolution is an older version of Eclipse and is not support. Eclipse Origins is the current version.

And yes, it will continue. Marsh (big boss/creator of the original Eclipse Engine) is still active. Eclipse Origins is pretty much complete, minus some small and documented bugs. A new C version is in development.

Sorry. When I said I wanted to EE refer to the Eclipse Engine.

But is VC6?
or will do in a platform. net in c?
