Robin
@JeffSventora:> For those interested, here is the response I got from Enterbrain, it was expected but hey, it was worth a shot by at least asking? :pIt really wasn't. This is Enterbrain we're talking about. They're owned by the biggest media company in Japan. They're not going to let you do anything without you sending them copious amounts of money. Fuu
@Captain:> But what if you don't have the talent? That's not lazy, just untalented. You make it sound like everyone can make perfect ducking graphics. Get the duck out.Hmm?

You make it sound like everyone can make perfect ducking graphics. Get the duck out. That's where hiring artists comes in. :PGenerally, even most Indie developpers pay good money to get the quality they want if they can't make it themselves, or simply don't have the friends that can make it. I see this happening on several forums, and know a lot of people that do very good work, for a price.Game development is not a free thing, sure if you can find people to do it for you.. It's free, if they're your friends and willing to help. But if you ever want to make anything out of it, you'll need to either make a contract for royalties, or simply pay them for their work straight away. Free resources generally include a license stating the original creator can do whatever the heck they want with it, it's not specifically created for you alone. If someone else asks, they can get it too.

Joyce
It is lazy in a sense, but for placeholder work it's alright most of the time. Or use a less common resource. :]

Robin
ITT: People who have been so lazy over the last 6 years that they've literally accomplished nothing claiming I'm lazy because I use public resources which are superior to anything I can make.Hurr durr.
