xwolf910
So what should i use in terms of graphic software? Is old MS paint good or should i use like adobe illustrator or something. And what are the dimensions for characters or swords and npcs and stuff? And (i know this isnt relevant) does anyone have a VB6 tutorial on how to code that uses examples from the actual server/client code?

Jeff
Use whatever you like best. Photoshop can do a bunch of things much faster than other programs can, making it a popular choice.
Diagothan
> i don't feel liek explaining> if you need further help add me on msn [email protected]lol. But anyways, I would generally reccomend using photoshop or GIMP for editing GUIs, and GraphicsGale or MS Paint for pixel work like sprites/tilesets/icons. cloudsky
The graphic software you should use will depend on the graphic approach or style you will go with.If you will go with pixel art (which is usually used for tiles, items, skill icons, and characters) MS paint and Paint.net will do the job right.Otherwise (for banners, logos, concept arts, etc.), go with photoshop or illustrator. It is usually 32 by 32 pixels for items, skill icon, and tiles. For NPCs and Characters it usually 32 by 32 or 32 by 64.
