Help with Map Animation Layers

Okay so I followed this tutuorial http://www.eclipseorigins.com/thread-7228.html and managed to added map animation layers to the SEB Engine. I have a couple issues though that I can't seem to figure out. The fringe animation plays below the fringe layer for some reason and the mask2/fringe2 animation layers won't display tiles. I'm not sure where to look or what to look for so any help would be great.
