[HELP] Building our own host for Eclipse Origins.

Hello all,

I'm in need of a help about hosting my own server with my own computer basicly.

I have an ASUS N55S i7 , free to use for a server. I tried my best to Port Forwarding (7001 and 4000 udp and tdp ports) I also have a server which is done. When i try to use "LogMeIn Hamachi" server can be seen online, but otherwise and without Hamachi server seems offline. And i want to know how to set a proper host with my own computer.

I tried to search in the every hole of this forum to find a solution for that, but two days has passed and couldn't find anything about that. Help me if you can, you can only point the direction if you don't have time to explain it all. I can also use a tutorial about that.

Oh, i forgot to say that i already opened my "7001" port with my server computers IP. But others cannot get online, it says "Server may be down.." Actually i think i have a problem, but it might be something else.. Any ideas?

Firewall would be my guess without knowing more.

AAND, my firewall is disabled right now. It doesn't works in that way, too.

You don't change the server IP server side, just client side.

Well, then you're saying users only need to change their config.ini on their client/data folder? Or simply adding a new server using NEW button on their launcher? And one last question. I'm looking to my IP adress via Google and giving out the IP number, is that the way to let them enter my server?

www.canyouseeme.org, use it for ip and port checking, if you type in 7001 (or your port number) and click 'check port' it will show if its public or not.

Client side - Data Files - Config.ini - Change IP=127.0.0.1 or whatever to ip you got from IP chicken or whatsmyip.com

Be sure to open your port and be sure your ip doesn't change all the time. You can edit all options in router settings

Here you go. It says that it can see me with my IP and PORT. Would you like to try to get in to my server? Or, i don't know.. My brain is about to explode about this. Seriously if i can't fix it, i'll probably stop working on that server..

Oh GOD! I fixed it. Guys you don't need to work on that. IT'S WORKING!
