Kaejer
Hey all, so this is my first time having a problem with sprite sheets, normally they seem to work perfectly without me having to try. I have the attached sprite sheet and the box is where Eclipse is pulling the square for the sprite. It seems to be using a 36x36 square for the sprite, but the sprite is more like a 38x38\. I've seen many sprites with odd dimensions, but perhaps I just don't know required dimensions or I need to space them further apart on the sheet, but… yea. I'm not sure what to do and changing sprites to different sizes is more annoying than just changing code.Anyone know what the solution is before I spend a few hours trying to fix it? :)
Joyce
It's probably a few pixels off, because it divides the sprite sheet by four to get the size of the seperate sprites.
Kaejer
Ah, I see, so it basically divides it into 4 equal parts horizontal and vertical?

Kaejer
Alright, well another question then… does it ignore extra spacing on the sides? Because splitting them into a 16x16 grid I moved all of the sprites where they didn't break a barrier and they look a little better, but I'm still getting feet on top of my dragon heads. Joyce
No, it takes the image as it is and simply divides it by four.
Kaejer
Oh never mind, that fixed it. Thanks :).
