Make sure the IP's and ports are the same in both the server and client folder. Go to http://www.ipchicken.com and get your IP and save it in a notepad file. Go to 192.168.1.1 to log into your router. Go to ports and add an exception for whatever your port is.

  4. I'm looking for a program that will rename my sprites. The images in the folder are 1-600\. All I need to do to the names are add +72 to them. So basically, 1 would change to 73, 2 would change to 74, 3 would change to 75, and so on. Is there a program that can do this? Or a tutorial perhaps? Thanks guys!
  5. I've tried and tried, and also tried (if not attempted) to make button or images like the Eclipse GUI rankings. I like them so much because they look simple, yet glossy and fine on the edges.   7. I don't think you will be…WinRAR also shows every file labeled with.bmp at the end. EVERY FILE. Maybe I should try to convert them to .bmp manually if the guy who made Eclipse Starlight fucked up?
  8. Fixed link: http://www.mediafire.com/?6tgy01g6om127na I've already tried checking the extension in properties and in WinRAR as well, both say that the file is BMP. Every file in the characters folder is BMP but only 1-18 work.

I know that if I have to change the extension I can't just add .BMP or .JPG to it. But all I'm doing is simply importing the whole characters folder from the Eclipse Starlight custom engine.   12. I get RTE 53\. I have 222 sprites in my characters folder. They are all numbered correctly. They are all BMP files. Every sprite over 18 does NOT work, and gives me RTE 53\. If I use admin to change my sprite, everything higher than 18 = RTE 53\. A class that uses sprites 18+ results in RTE 53\. Once character is created/sprite is changed, can't change sprite back since I get RTE 53 upon login. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Why won't it work?

  18. First off, thank you @Robin for releasing CS:DE. I know you don't trust anyone and hate me. Alright, so I really want to use CS:DE for testing purposes and kinda run through every feature it has to the point where I get a handle as to how to theoretically create a simple game. The only thing is I have NO knowledge whatsoever on CS:DE, how to run it, and generally everything. Is there a guide somewhere perhaps that I could follow?

  21. Hey everyone! I'm starting a new game and I can't find a good engine to use. Which one is the best? Eclipse Origins Reloaded, Eclipse Starlight, or Eclipse Omega? These are the 3 custom engines that supposedly have all the mods installed and what not. Should I just start out with a clean copy of Eclipse Origins and install all the mods one by one? Please leave feedback guys, thanks!
  22. Hey guys I've decided to come back to the community and create a game! I've been gone for quite some time now, so I just have a question about the current version of Eclipse Origins out. Is there a system in it such as questing or NPC interacting? Can you talk to an NPC and have words actually expressed from the NPC in something like a UI?

Not sure what to do here to do that, hope he replies. You guys have any ideas on how I can go about converting 600 item images into the way they are supposed to be like the first picture?
