  1. The characters look damn sexy. The grass, dirt and fit in pretty well with the characters for me. The water doesn't feels like water at all. The tree doesn't fits with the tiles and the characters at all. Plus, listen to Kreator. Having black outlines on some sprites and on others not is really confusing. Try to match a single style.

    Thank you. Big update coming in, re-did everything and made a very comfortable user interface. Just giving the final retouches before bringing it out to the public.

    Depends on your point of view. If you prefer to write everything unto a piece of paper or a text file, go for it; otherwise, I'd highly recommend you to use it.

    Yeah, before, I never actually had a chance to run through binaries in VB6, but after watching it how it works, it's actually very simple. But I decided not to make it Eclipse compatible. Why? Because Eclipse Origins has an internal NPC Editor, it would be plain stupid.
    Thought, the next version is pretty big, compared to it's predecessor, with a bunch of new features that will seduce you to use it.

    Anyways, I also want to say that, I'm sorry if you find this program useless or stupid, it was my try at making something with VB6 for the first time, so, I actually expected you people found it un-useful. Yet, you can avoid this program or actually be helpful and give it at try.
  3. The maps are really small.
    The "camp" map … hmm... doesn't looks like a camp actually, and I really dislike how you filled it with flowers all around the camp site.
    The "port" map is overall good, in my opinion, but really small. And, you should add some NPCs in there. It will make it more beautiful.
    Well, just gonna say that, it's a good start, hope you get better eventually.
  4. I hate you guys.

    > He means you should use constants for calculations. He just doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about.

    Anyone who has used Dim x As y or Public x As y, would know what the fuck I'm talking about.

    Yes. You're right.

    Not actually close to what I said, but it'll be enough for you to understand.
  5. Another Tip: **Dim. Dim everywhere.**

    >! ![](http://img844.imageshack.us/img844/373/dimdimeverywhere.png)

    Dim-ing is the best thing you can do. Instead of giving plain values to every goddamn thing in your engine, dim it. Make a module just for dim-ing Values which you are going to use for your engine. So, if you ever need to change it later, it'll be easy as hell, instead of searching endlessly through your code, because you forgot how you named the value that determined how much weapons the character can wield at a time.
  6. The video looks amazing. Sorry for not watching it before. Looks like we have someone with actual programming skills over here.

    Basically, the battle logic has been done correctly, but there's no organization in there.
    What I mean that, if you want to make an awesome custom battle system, you'll have to add some awesome battle effects to it and a very comfortable UI. Instead of the server sending text/adding text to the txtChat, render the text above the enemies. That will make it a lot more viewable-friendly.
    Another thing would be, adding animations. What you got there is just an awesome plain battle system with a very large potential. If you want it to be the best at what it does, add animations. If I were you, I'd use spells as attack animations, and save some time to myself, but that's just me.

    **TL;DR**: the battle system is pretty awesome. You got some nice stuff there.
    But you didn't focused on the most attractive part, that are the graphics, and by graphics I mean, effects, animations, etc.

    Good job! I'm keeping an eye on this, definitely.

    ^Can you see those?

    Warning - New post bla bla bla

    @MrMiguu:

    > Yes, single image is single.

    Oh… lemme re-upload.
  10. Yes. My netbook has handled a big variety of games with the same graphics. The only problem with "AI World" is that it loads the whole fucking world instantly, instead of the famous load-when-you-need-it.

    I'm not saying that my netbook is awesome with 3D games, it's obviously not.
    But, it not running this game smoothly? You serious?
    I wouldn't complain if a game like Combat Arms ran a bit slow(It actually does :(), but I still can't believe how it can't run smoothly this game.
  11. Yes, you heard it.
    Most frames are supposed to skip to next after 0.3 secs, so the animation is supposed to be a little fast.
    Size = 48*48(Scaled x 2 from 24 * 24)

    I admit it still looks very weird, but with your help(c&c), it can become pretty awesome.

    I noticed Imageshack is not animated .GIF friendly.
