Hmm, No-ip.com seems nice. So if I were to use No-ip.com would the IP to connect to my game have to be http://whatever.no-ip.com/ instead of an actual ip?

I was wondering how hosting works if I were to not port forward. I have seen something about Hamachi but I'm not sure how safe that is or how easy. I used to run a MUD* awhile back and all you really had to do was load the files on to the server using FTP, then set the port, and give everyone the port and IP and they could connect. Is hosting Eclipse anything like that? And what kind of Server would I need exactly to host Eclipse? The Servers I used for MUD*s was meant specifically for MUD*s and I'm sure there are not, or very few, Eclipse based Servers. Thanks alot, I appreciate the help.

Okay i did that and now it works. Only problem is I can't see my sprite. If it makes a difference I have set custom to 1\. Also, when I remove the item the upper half if the head can be seen but that is all. Thanks. :huh:

ok, the one in green is the one i am trying to get to be the pd. Now is the one in red the one i select for it? Even when i selected it it still didn't work. Sorry the one i am trying to select is like 16 items up from the green circled item.

I used the paperdolled. Doe's it have to be the first item if the paperdoll list or any other particular square?

Yes I have already done both. Is it possible that the paperdoll i'm using is out dated? If so how do I update it?

Ok well i downloaded it and just made it my item list. I went into the data.ini in the server folder and changed paperdoll to 1, made them item and bought it but when I equip the item it doesn't appear. I don't understand what I am doing wrong. :embarrassed:

I was wondering if the 126 PDed items//1020 non-PDed items [SHEET] (ripped) is ready to copy and go or if I would need to make adjustments to it? It is located on the main site under paperdoll items. Thanks.

I was just wondering if there were any plans to make Eclipse more Vista friendly? I know Eclipse will run on Vista but it is ment more for XP which, in my case anyways, can cause some head aches.

I was just wondering what Total Eclipse was since Eclipse Evolution seems to be the main engine used? I am assuming some of the features are different and maybe a few other things but which one is better in general? :huh:

Ok, I cant seem to get spells to work. I have made the spell and set the requirement and everything but when my character got to the level he didn't gain the skill. Im thinking maybe a Trainer system or something because I noticed the skill points that are gained with each level but when I edit a NPC I don't see a trainer option anywhere. So my question is…how do I add spells? :icon_crap:

Actually yes. I was trying to make a shop just messing around and it said I need to make at least one form of currency. So my question is how do I make a form of currency?

Okay, when I go into the server to edit a class I keep getting this error: The file specified could not be found. and then it pops up a scripting page that is blank. :huh: I have no idea what to do… Any help would be great. Thanks.

I've already DLed the lib files.

UAC was already turned off. And no I didn't change any of the music files.

I am using Windows Vista.

I am very new to eclipse and still figuring out how this engine works. When I attack an npc i keep getting this error: Unable to play C:\Users\Jon Kritch\Desktop\Eclipse Evolution 2.7\Client\SFX\miss.wav! Either the path\URL you typed is incorrect or you computer does not have the codec required to play it. I am assuming I need some type of Wav Player installed but I am not sure. Could someone please help me. Thanks. :embarrassed:
