Lol, after one time trying you can't skateboard yet ;) it's just just like other stuff, you have to practice a lot… Fall -> Stand Up -> Repeat (Until you get the hold of it) Also... what kinda board do you have / did you use? You should really try or considder trying it again :)

Let me explain that step by step :) 1\. The Deck: The Deck is the main part of the board. This is the "piece of wood". A deck can be good or bad because: -The wood can have certain qualities. -The layers differ. The more layers, the stronger, but less is more flexible. -The paint… that's just taste XD -Weight. The wood can be heavy and light... I prefer light :) 2\. The Trucks: The Trucks are the things that are attached to the board and hold the wheels. They are made of certain types of metal. Good or bad coz: -Light/Heavy Metal (don't B nubby and say sumthing about heavy metal -.-) -Strong/Weak metal, does it bend fast? Does it break? -Stainless/Not... THEY MUST BE STAINLESS! 3\. The Wheels: I don't really know how to explain 'bout the wheels, but hell yeah, they matter! 4\. The Bearings: The bearings are also really important. I've had really bad ones and that just really takes the fun out of skateboarding. 5\. The Griptape: Doesn't really say much 'bout the quality of ur board. Only important thing is that they do, or do not resist water :) 6\. I'm bored: I'm too bored to continue this thing :p
