  1. I am having the same problem, and I'm not new to eclipse, I have used it on several occasions before, but my hardrive died, I can't connect to my friend's server either.
  2. Ok, I'm running windows xp home ed blah blah. I tried to start my own game and I kept on getting client side RTE 9 And I coudln't solve it. It looks like some of the.ddl's or what ever didn't install rgiht? I can't figure out why so I just gave up. But I tried getting onto my friends client, and his server he is hosting. and I can't I mean, there are other people that can. but it seems that none of the clients I can try can hook up to any servers.'ve made sure the Ip config is right, I checked my firewall ect ect. everything says it shoulld work as far as I can see. any sugestioins? The server log records my conneting but a momment later I terminate connection apperantly.
  3. Haha, I haven't edited anything, but that you for that tidbit of knowledge and thank you for trying to help me. :cheesy:
  4. Forgive me, I have searched the forms and there has been no help for me, I'm not new to Eclipse either. I have ran it on this computer before. My hardrive died so I gave it up. And for reasons I wont bore you with I wish to try again. I just downloaded the client and the server and library files and ran them all and restarted as directed. I opened the server and then the client, a few moments after opening the client regardless of if I press anything I get the run time error 9. I have searched the forms for help on this issue but I gave up after the first few pages. I have tried uninstalling, restarting, deleting and re downloading, I checked the Moderators RTE list and I didn't see a problem like this listed under 9. I'm running Windows XP, If anyone has any suggestions they would be appreciated. Please don't get mad that I posted about this runtime error please, I know there are other topics on it, but none have helped me.
