  2. **Kingdoms Recruitment Thread** Kingdoms is an RPG that has been in development all summer. It boasts expansive maps and a unique faction-based PvP system. It is once again open for new developers! Because Kingdoms is so environment heavy, mapping is our strongest point in presenting our game. Therefore, we ask for only the most experienced mappers to apply. This is one of the most enjoyable positions, but do understand that although we ask for a creative mind, we also hope that you can listen to instructions when we give plans of a map's layout. The requirement for this position is an example of your mapping. Kingdoms will use only RPG Maker XP tiles, so we will only accept applications using them. **Database Editor** I'll be honest, this is a rough one. We need someone to help with databasing and balancing items, enemies, and spells. Someone who is strong with their math and willing to crunch numbers and fill out information. The reward is of course in-game benefits and being a member of the team. You will need to be honest and dedicated, and we prefer you have some English skills for filling out descriptions accurately and of course math skills for calculating stats. **Graphics Editor** This position is important to the speed in which Kingdoms is created. We plan to use a lot of RPGMakerXP's graphics, so there is nothing extensive like creating full custom tilesets involved. Instead, we need someone who is able to create paperdoll based on weapon icons as well as help with converting, arranging, and optimizing certain graphics. We ask that you submit an example of your graphics work before applying for this position.   3. Augh, never mind disregard my last post. RPGVX's tiles are 64x96 instead of XP's 96x128 for one. I believe there are some settings you can modify to change that in the source, if I recall. But for static tiles it works like this: ![](http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/img/autotile.jpg)
  4. @S.J.R.: Thanks for clearing it up, I mean that honestly. I had a feeling I was wrong, but I was pretty far off haha. It's good to know it's possible then. It will really revolutionize the game industry.
  5. Yes it's a lot of data so it's unlikely, but I don't believe the shading is based on every single vertex, it's probably applied to a group of them. 3D isn't really my strong point, so I don't really know. All I can tell you is they're not "atoms".
  6. They're not atoms, he put it into those terms for people to understand. It's using a large amount of vertices, so essentially there are still polygons(?), they're just so incredibly small that they become insignificant. The "atoms" aren't little 3D dots forming a shape, if that's what the implication is.

For anyone curious, my name ended up being Katirina (such a wonderfully original name thought up last minute by my friend and I) And thanks haha, Ezio is a pretty damn good looking character.

This. I'm trying this game out. Still installing it on my Windows 7 partition, but I got to play around with the customization a bit and it looks pretty damn fantastic. Does anyone play on the US server at all?

  23. You didn't know about spriters resource? They have everything. The best way is to create your own 32x32 tiles by optimizing the ripped tilesets. It's a lot of work, but it pays off.
