  2. Or you can do what I did, and just script them so if you hit enter instead of attack you will talk to them.

  5. Well, it's a little hard to explain. So let try again. xP I switched the Sprites.bmp from TE with 2.7 sprites (I like them better). The sprites seemed to work fine untill I tried making the classes have specific sprites. Sprite 17, for example, would look like sprite 8 or something. I got one fixed, but another would change and mess up for some reason. I did finally get it all set, even if some sprites had incorrect numbers, then when I set Mage (since spells didn't work) to invisible, the sprites were mixed up again. How can I fix that?
  6. Okay, so I switched the Sprite.bmp in 2.7 with the TE one (which has a better selection of sprites) and all of a sudden, (everything was working fine), the character sprites started mixing up. Sprite 1 would be sprite 8, but when I got it to work good, it switched on me again. what the fuck?

    That's what I thought when I first saw it, but it never showed up with the e-mail box and a verification e-mail never came. I never though Level = 0 did anything so I left it. Thanks for that Scribbles.

    Ya, I had problems encrypting 2.7 when I first used it, so I gave up there and then. But now I'm back to Eclipse. xP Servers are expensive for running a game. >.>
  9. You need to script spells because currently they do not work in anything up to 2.7, they should be partially fixed in 2.7 and supposedly 100% debugged in 2.8. But right now there's nothing really anyone can do but wait.. or learn to script. >.>

    Okay, so we know email = 0 and verifyacc = 0 do something that doesn't currently work, but what about Level = 0?

    Encryption

    Well, I used Eclipse for a bit, it was the best thing I've ever used. But it made me push myself to limits that the engine couldn't handle. So I switched to a Compiler (c++/VB) to make my game manually. But for a server to host is average 200 bucks that I don't have. So I'm back to Eclipse until I can get a sponsor or a front for a good server, a team, and a website. I've been off and on about making a game for years, but I'm dead serious now. Well, enough about my life story. So, I'm pretty much sol huh?

    Encryption

    Is there any way to Encrypt or Hide your files in the Client? I tried making an invisable folder and putting everything in it except the EXE, but the EXE didn't run properly. I don't want people taking anything from there. I know you can encrypt the GFX but that never worked out correctly for me and I still have those other valuable files.

    Can someone name ALL the ingame controls for Admins and players? Like: Players~ Arrow Keys = Move Enter = Pick Up Cntrl = Interact + Attack F5 = ?? Admin/GM~ Arrow Keys = Move Enter = Pick Up F1 = Admin Pannel I know that I know MOST of them, but I would appreciate a complete list, thank you.

    Ya, when I change to 1, they don't seem to change anything in the UI or the server itself.

    On the Data.ini It says Level=0 Email=0 VerifyAcc=0 What do those mean?
  19. I'm not entirely sure, you may need to do some (if not all of it) stuff to get it scripted to have something like that.

    EE 2.8

    I was starting to wonder about 2.8, I'm not asking for a release date, I don't care about that personally. But, what kind of features are supposed to be added into it's framework? Anything new being added or taken away? What kind of development improvements can we expect? Would it be wise to stay (if you had a larger game with 2.7) to stay with 2.7 or upgrade? And if we should upgrade, is there going to be an easier, more balanced, way to transfer our games? Just asking for reasonable questions. =3 ~Oizumi
