Think I found the problem. 2 of the spirtes I was trying did not work. when I switched the sprites, they did work. Maybe there has to be an overlap of sorts that is not happening with those 2 sprites. thx for your help

thought it may have just been the character, so I made another one. it said nothing as well. the npc that attacks does speak. tried putting it on attack, and it won't attack her either.

so the element thing only works with spells?

has strength has defense has hitpoints message is typed in speak also has respawn of 10 secs, could that be the problem?

It has an edit elements option and the npcs seem to have it as well.

The numbers for attacks show up on the screen so you can fgure out what damage takes place and the releationships of offense and defense. The spells do not do this. Does anyone know the relation between "magic" and damage? Also, how do you determine how much damage a spell does? What do the different element buttons do? And last but not least, what do stamina and speed do? thx

When I put new tilesets in, I color the backgrounds black, but the black shows up when I go to lay the tiles. Is therea specific color the background of a tile is supposed to be to make it clear? Is it something other than black?

For example, I may call defense "armor class", speed "dexerity", etc..

Is there a way to make character classes that do not show up in the character creation menu?

For some reason when I go from one screen to the other it freezes sometimes. It says recieving, but never changes over. I have to warp the character. I'm using the switchover. only have a single repeating ground tile laid on the screens. Also the screen is sometimes dark and discolored. Was not sure if that was supposed to be night?

Is there a manual to Eclipse?
