  3. I was looking around the Xbox Live Marketplace the other day, and also my Dashboard. Found this in the Spotlight I think. I'm not sure about what the game is actually about.. Was there a prequel, or several Prequels to it? I played the Demo, liked it, kind of reminds me of the Iron Man MK I suit.. As A Halo fan, you could excpect me to like both Ironman and this game… Have your say.

  6. Hello. If you are interested in registering for a place for the ONLY Halo Based MMORPG, then you've come to the right place. Here is what the game has to offer: - An original story line (I.e, Not based on Master Chief, but a whole new baseline of characters and planets) - 100% Custom Spritesheet, Custom Tileset - An Intermediate Webdesigner (I can make a pretty damn good website :P) - Hundereds of items.. And more. The game is set in 2553 around April/May time. After the war. I am not at reason to give out the storyline and characters at this moment. The project hasn't been posted in the WIP forum nor does it have screenshots, because it hasn't really got an engine yet, which is where I need your help. But to the point. This is recruitment. I am looking for willing candidates, people that will listen to advice, and plans, and of course, can do the below: ~~Coder: - Provide simple form edits Via VB6 - Code intermediate scripts, or edit scripts to change them to the game's requirements - Have an intermediate knowledge of VB6 - Be able to correct bugs, at a good pace~~ GFX Artist: - Be able to do basic shading - Use Photoshop Intermediate/Expert - Be able to sprite to an aquired style Mapper: - Have a good understanding of what makes a map good, strategically, and aethstetically - Be able to create interesting Environments - Have a good idea of where to put NPC's Tester (2 Posts): - Have the knowledge of possible buggy areas - Be able to feed back to the coders what is wrong with the script - Have had previous experience with testing - Has the patience to test every area of the game, many times, to make sure everything is in order. –---- If you are interested in any of those posts, and have the skills, please PM me. NOTE: You will become a GM (If wanted) when the game is launched. You will gain extra items, which are exclusive to staff.
  7. Hallo. 'Tis KillerRazor again, needing yet MORE VB6 help. Here is the summary of what I need done: - Ingame GUI edit (Change of button positions) - Guild form edits (I need the Guild forms to refer to a "Guild" as a "Clan". I can't think of anything else at the minute.. But those I need. If you can help, post here telling me you can, and then I'll send you the Template GUI, for guidance of where I want the buttons placed. My Coder has now pulled out of the project, lucky me, so I have to get ALL resources for the game, from asking favours from different people… Great. Lucky I didn't pile on the features for the game.. If you could do this, it'd be great. You will be credited and given a special object in the final game.

  9. Hello. It is KillerRazor here, wanting a little push with his main menu :D Although I'm pretty neat and tidy with graphics, I cannot create anything in VB for my life. My main coder has been having problems and doesn't have time to make the menu, so I wanted someone to make a quick edit for me. Basically, all I am looking for are all the default buttons, rearranged to fit my GUI, the exit button to cover both the icon and the text and obviously the news and Server status to be moved. I would like the News to be transparent to fit my design. The menu resembles that of the Halo 3 one, but has my own personal touch. THIS GUI IS EXCLUSIVE TO HALO FINAL IGNITION TEAM AND MAY NOT BE USED BY ANY OTHER GAME CREATOR. Just to make sure no one steals it, there is an exclaimer overlapping the design. I should think it is still possible to line everything up. If you help with this, I'll add your name to the credits and give you some exclusive items when we finish the game ;) Thanks, -KR (Now Kaigeebee)

  11. Hey. I came here a long time a go, trying to promote my game, with no success. I have now decided, to re-start the project, on my own, learning as I go along. When I produce some BETAs, maybe people will come along. Anyway, I am looking for some advice on how to change the titles of these parts of the game. Now, I am well aware that these details are not easily editable, as I have checked everything to make sure that these names are not outside closed files. I need to know what .dll or .ocx file, or otherwise, I have to edit, to access these files, or what with. Now, I have the feeling I cannot edit these files, so if that is the case, I would appreciate it if someone could do it for me. But if I can access these names, I would like to know how..   12. Hey guys, you might have heard a small, little bit of banter about this new Halo RPG game, in development.. Well, It's called Final Ignition, hopefully to be the first online fully playable Halo RPG. I'm making this game for two reasons. One, there are a billion fanboys out there only making sidescrollers. And Two, one has never succeded before. I would hope to release this game really late 2009, development hasn't really kicked out yet, because the sprite resources we have, are from scratch. Which means taking more time. And I haven't posted this in WIP due to not having enough work done yet. The beta testing should begin, as soon as we have the designated sprites and tiles completed. (The beta will probably use standard tiles) –-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Story (Not really a story): You are A soldier.. Trained up and sent out to explore. Thousands of worlds will await you, along with large assortments of weapons. Are you ready for the Universe? Info/Summary (This is A LOT easier to explain): Halo Final: Ignition, is one of the few attempts on the internet, for an RPG based halo game. Many have tried and failed. But I'm not one to quit. The game will slowly expand into a large world, sort of like runescape, but with completely different Ideas, and many different characters.. Oh, and guns. In this game There will eventually be a large list of enemies, and playable characters, including: -Elites -Spartans -Naval Officers -ODSTs' -Marines And enemies including: -Grunts -Brutes -Jackals -Sentinels -Flood And much more to come. The game will be based mainly off Halo 2 and 3, allowing you to go to all sorts of the Halo Battlefields, remembering all of the different enemies, and the allies, that you lose. It will also include special rooms for members of the team, with ANY music of your choice to be played, and as larger room as you like. There won't just be Playable Marines, and other characters, but guard NPC's, you can meet on your path. A larger variety of weapons will be availible, rather than just the original weapons. Other edited versions of weapons will also be there. Helmets, and armours will also be part of your arsenal, giving you a wide range of different assortments. And the game will even include pets :D. I'm not totally sure what kind of pets yet, but I'll come up with something. And even more than that will be added through Development!! Time Era: Futuristic, 2530-2553 Range of years. Gameplay type: Aliens Vs. Humans Features: -Large assortments of charcters I.E you were only able to play as two differnet characters in the halo games, as in Halo Universe, you can play as a large different ammount of characters. -New weapons, such as modified weapons that you only find in the books. -Favourite games, such as CTF, Oddball and maybe even King of the hill, or territories. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyrights: This game is being created under Microsoft's User content and Usage rules, the game is being distrubuted obviously for free under law, and all CHARACTER sprites used in the game will either be my content, or one of the team's Extras: None Notified yet..   13. Awesome :D Let me just compile up my set :) Ignore the elite tests, they suck.. EDIT: Here is the sheet, the "Build a Spartan" part will completed when needed. No shading has been applied yet, I have someone from a halo spriting forum to do that for me ;)
  14. Thank you :D I don't often check for version names, but that'll stay firm. Ok.. Here's the update on the sprite sheet. I have almost completed the first side of it. There is now Mark VI armour (For normals) and the Recon armour for the high rankers…. This demo will NOT be public when it's finished, but I hope we can come up with some people to choose for the beta test.. But that's a way away from now ;) Will start on Elite perms ASAP.

Urm, 32x64, and I think I am using the latest version of Eclipse, either 2.7, or 2.8, can't remember what it's called… Codework will begin shortly, once the required sprites are completed, and all graphic and story work are done. The first sprites that would be needed will be the Elites, but I have not completed the bodies yet, I may ask for some help with that too, and I'll give references. I'll look at the sprites Bone, but if they are not as awesome as you say they are, I'll continue with the stuff I'm doing.. And 32x32 is not really my street, but the tiles i'm 100% sure I want a look at them if possible ;)

  17. They're not world class excellent, I'll see them… The thing is, you don't have ALL the sprites, do you? You said you have master chiefs.. Right? Because if you have the full sheet, then I'd want them, really bad.. And to billy, monitors and sentinels will not be Pets, but high leveling AI.. Pets, will be things as normal as cats and dogs, to falcons, and all sorts of mysterious creatures from the depths of halo.. Pets will be covered, but only in one of the latest versions of the game.. At the moments, sprites are priority, and once I have those, releasing the Beta demo, and then we'll get down to coding and mapping. Bone, please, tell me what the sheet DOES have, and then I'll see how much I want them.. Because after that, I'd have to find someone that could sprite in the same format as those sprites, and then I'd be doing no work, "Pulling my weight" because I am the project leader, and in truth I should be doing a lot..
  18. Look, I don't need the sprites anymore (Unless they have weapons) I'm just interested in the tiles.. The sprites are no where complete, and only team members will I allow to look at them.. If you can't get the tiles, then don't, because it's just going to hold up the game, but, if they are good, it would be nice if you could find them…

  20. Ah, Finally :D It seems my begging actually got through to someone.. Well, at the moment, I'm working with my own brew of Halo RPG sprites, hopefully going to be the only good Hrpg sprite sheet around, named "Razor's Spritesheet" XD. The sprites are 64x64, and I have the spartan variants for the game covered, as I have completed the first set of perms for it, I just need it animated and shaded.. On the other hand, my elite perms are in quite a state. I would be happy to recruit you onto my team, as then I can continue with the game demo.. Just for reference, every team member of the game gets these unique freebies: -Full Recon Armour (Your choice of colour) -Flamehead (Four Different colours) -25 Free Levels And loads more, in my recruiting section. If you agree to join my team, and promise not to use the finished sprites in ANY other game, then I will send you the sheet and some references.. Thanks! KR

  23. Awesome!! I was beginning to do the elite sprites, but needed some help. If you can find those sprites, Damn I'll give you recon :D I should handle EDITING them myself. Oh and guys, if this is a good sprite sheet, we will be having the demo come out VERY soon… As soon as the sprites come in, I'll begin editing the GUIS and game settings. Thanks SB!!
