I would like to program,its just that i never really done that before. So i first need VB6 i think and some place to start from to learn . I saw a few nice tutorials on the forums allready. (btw,it is VB6 i need to do any programming on this engine right?)

If you care to help me with it that be great Whack, i have no skills in programming (last time i was into that was on a commadore 64 when i was still a kid). I wouldnt know what or where to edit lol. Guess i need to read more tutorials when i find time besides making my graphics…maybe there is even a tutorial about it i overlooked.

Ok,put it on solved and i will look around to see how i can inplant the roofs like i want them (warping for now till i find out more about programming). Is Eclipse Evolution an option or does it miss to mutch compaired to the Eclipse Origins? (btw,i still have loads of work to do on my tilesheets since i wanna make my own,so i got time to look around  )

Hey everyone,i started using Eclipse not long ago (tested a few of the original and some of the user created versions), but im kinda stuck on something. The layers for mapping i get now, but i was wondering if there is a way to make a layer dissapear when my char goes under it. I want to use this to make people unable to look in the house on the map untill they move into to house,the roof will dissapear then so they can look inside the house. I hope this can be done without any programming (since i only did the graphics of games so far). Else it just might be the time to get to learn that and i have to make a warp to a other map with the inside of the house in it for the time beeing… I hope my English was good enough for people to understand what im looking for  .

Im still realy new to all the Eclipse engines,so forgive me when i ask to noobish questions  . But is there a way to have a layer dissapear when you are under it? I want to do the roof of house that way. So when your outside you cant see the inside of the house,but when you move in the roof isnt shown anymore and you can look around… No idea if its in the engine allready,but i havent found it so far.

This looks really nice . Love all the extra's and layout,but can someone tell me how i can put new images for sprites,tilesets and stuff in here? Or am i not alloud to do that?
