I need someone to point me in the right direction with making tilesets and other in game art in GIMP. I cant download a 64 bit version of photoshop, and gimp is so weird coming from a person whose only really used paint a few times.

how do I go about removing accidental block points on my maps?

ok so put all the items together as they would be in a tileset? like multiple items to a sheet? Just trying to make sure I grasp the matter completely here lol. Thanks for you're help kind sir. I was well on my way to making some computers crash probably lol.

I like the idea you are going for. I have two questions to ask about this though: 1\. What file is this in? here you say mod text. I have a file named fmod.dll , would that be the file to choose from? 2\. Does this work for 4.0 as well? This may be why the file names are a little different for me.

I just looked through and downloaded a bunch of tile sets, and items that were in a tile set format. 1\. How can I edit these tile sets together to downsize the number of tile sets I'm using in the game? 2\. How can I go about separating my items and making sure they are ready to be used by eclipse as I need them? I've been seeing some really cool tile sets, and I like pieces of all of them, but I'm thinking less is more here. I want my game to have plenty of effects, but I don't want to lag it down with a bunch of junk that I may not even use. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help on this, Anhkanm

Ive been reading through posts going on my own learning adventure before I get too heavy into coding and I saw one or two people say you didn't get the upgrade when they make a new one. I really hope this isn't true as I would rather have the 5 engine on gold access.

Once I have made new effects; (e.g. hair, ears, mouth) how do I go about making sure they have loaded into the selection screen? I just tediously went through and made my own based around pre-existing options, so they should all be of proper proportions. I just am not sure how to add them into the character creation menu.
