Also Microsoft's products aren't really good at all. > > Besides, EE 3.0 has been improved to be more portable to .NET. > > Regards, > Godlord. well with the .net you can run it in linux fine with wine but besides the point i think they should add some things i have used on other 2d editors such as you can select more then one square at ones and copy its texture and repast it even out of the tile sets (makes trees a lot easier and that kinda stuff) and unlimited layers it allows you to pick a layer number and if its a fringe,ground, or mask so you have unlimited instead of just 1 ground 2masks and 2 fringes i know you can get by with the slandered amount but i found many cases were it would be nice to have more

LOL i'm sorry a couple things 1\. 480mbs of ram is nothing 2\. 10gb of hard disk is nothing 3\. how much xp takes up depends on your service packs ect 4\. 24/7 remote access….all real servers do that not really a feature 5\. kinda funny...being ram will vary depending on type you can't put a set price but for DDR2 800 (most comen right now) its about $20 2GB 6\. WHY would you pay for a $40-$60 server if your running eclipse on it?!? 7\. Dual Core 1.86Ghz Processor isn't a very good server processor(almost all home pc's have well over 2.0GHzs and close to if not 3.0GHzs) now with all that said about your computers 8\. those computers aren't strong enough to make the 16mb/s connection worth the money and also being you don't need that great of a connection to run eclipse 9\. only 50 Ports......i think that one explains its self and your computer pricing is way off you can get your self a dual core 3.0GHzs with no over clock for $80 and for $36 you can get 80gb sata2 3gbs transfer rate hard drives and you can get pretty good cases for $50-$75 now (and if you build your own its WAY cheaper) so if your going to tell us about this stuff try to get it right................................. btw i think your clients just don't know what there paying for

there she is my first map (and keep in mined this is after redid it trying to fix problems people told me about)  and this is the 2nd  see the change in just 2 maps? (a lot is due to the people that told me to change things) and still i hate that i forgot the one white tile above the door and i did that stupid open roof design :embarrassed:

try putting some more detail into them..spend some time on them…its no rush spend the next day working on something really good.. and if it still doesn't turn out good thats np...my first map wasn't so great wither..if you want to see it i can post it lol :P a couple maps later and you will start doing way better so spend a little while just making different maps and posting them and asking for advice and in no time you will be way better :D

you have to upload those to something like imageshak or any other image host place and then most of them will give you the code that dose it for you but if not click the image batten on post and put url between the two img things (if you don't understand it ask me to fix it LOL i just kinda tried to put in a way i thought you would understand it) imgshak web site http://imageshack.us/

well your thing says graphics artist…sorry can't help you there... but contact me if you ever need mod/admin and i can let you know more about what i have done/good at. I know you won't need one prob tell at least beta...but if you also ever need one for forums ect..contact me..ill be willing if i'm not busy that is (and i do have some mapping skills) btw do you have a website/forums yet? sorry if any of that is hard to ready i'm tired i think i'm going to bed soon man

think you should charge a little less? i mean $14 a month O.o for those systems? most of those you can get your hands on pretty cheaply if not free these days… and i think most people just pay the online fee for a small serving amount like eclipse engine you can pay very little for a cheap server that can handle it w/e just a thought good luck with college and all man!

…i don't think the best mappers on hear could charge that LOL (unless some one just needed a couple SUPER good maps done by a professional) wrong business to be charging so much...learn coding ect really well if you want to make money off of this...and still you can't expect to make a living off of making things for people on the eclipse forums
