Whenever I shoot my grapple hook at the edge of a map i get an error that shuts off my server and client along with erasing all data the the peson gained while playing durring that session, is there a fix to this? If so please tell me it because I dont want my players shooting accidentally off the map and having all their items & etc erased.

If you do play Maple Story then write down what server and your characters name and what level they are possibly. How can I change my mouse cursor when ppl play my game, I have the Cursor icon file thingy (aka. used ragnarok 1) and I want to know what I can do to make it change the reg cursor of others to the ragnarok one while they play my game?

I whipped this up (i will have alot more done later) but this is what i got done so far, i made sure it was all 32 x 32 and incresing in thoes dimensions. Im mainly doing this to encourage other game maker's to start 2d side-scrolling projects! here ya go, please tell me if you like it also… xD  (btw i saved it in PNG format so make sure to save it as BMP) *if you do use this please give me credit, i did work very hard on it. Ok guys, its official! The polls are in and the statistics are done, and you knew it! Pizza is the winner…no jk but the Side-scroller is the winner! I have already started on the GFX (they are actually meant for side-scrollers) and everything else is a siche! Im now just wait Admin DFA to get back to me on my request for a custom EE2.6 edited souce specifically made for the side-scroller, when he replies back then I will officially begin production! I want to thank everyone on these forums that inspired me to go through with this, if later on in the future a gravity script is made with eclipse then I will surely implement that Asap, but for now I have a system that will work just fine...so what you guys have to look forward to is a Beta release around Feb or March (I have finals b4 that) all I need now is a name (please gather all your thoughts together and create a name for Eclipse's first ever fully functional 2d side-scroller (comming soon! lol). I had previous work on paper online but it was mainly a concept thought used to see if it would all work out, and so far I have a solution for every error that occured with it. ALL I NEED IS A NAME (please, don't say sumthin like Swastica)lol xD!

Ok, I got VB6 and I opened Konfuse with it, I took all the lines with "npcavoid" and "walkthru" in them and deleted them so that when i make my side-scroller, My players can walkthru NPCs and other players without the use of walkthru tiles… but after i did that it still doesnt work! (btw i edited the konfuse Vb file only in the client folder i got from EE2.5 source. Please xplain to me what im doing wrong, thank you.

Im going to start in on 1 project, and I need to know what people will want to play more when i bring it into beta. Should I work on a 2d side-scrolling mmorpg or a zelda mmo? I really need to know because im going insane! If you want either of them, please give me suggestions and ideas so they will meet your guy's expectations! thanks' (pleae vote) 8)

I really want Iso Tiles almost exactly like (or same as) the one used in The Forbidden Gates (isometric mmo), I really like the designs and wish to grasp some of my own. If anyone knows what im talking about then please post a link to a site resource or a file that contains the sheets he used (or ones very similar). :-X

I need a template that has basically guided lines to show where to place gfx in each 32x32 square, that way i will be able to edit more easier. Thanks

I want to make it so when the people playing my game will gain like 5 stat points (for them to distribute freely) when they level, kind of like maple story. I see that there is a weird system with eclipse that they gair 1 stat per level and gain 2 lvls 30~70 or w/e. I dont understand that and I just want to change it to where they gain 5 stat points every levl and no more or less. ;)

Whenever i go to download the awsome ee 2.5, the page almost loads then automatically exits out. My comp does this with other sites and stuff, i dont know why but could sum1 be as kind as to post the download link for EE 2.5 in this topic for the sake of Lostica? xD thanks~!

Why is it that more people play Jerrath Online rather than Rebelion Online? I have always questioned that considering Rebelion has such better graphix and more features, while Jerrath is just another 2d mmorpg in my opionion. If there is a reason why this is, could someone please explain it to me?

im using TE because of the patcher and less errors, anyways… this is a problem with my TE and my EE, when i run my game, it won't play midi files. When i run them separate they work, so they arent defective. i need to figure out why EE or TE won't play midi files (btw. EE can play mp3 still)! please help~ Sorry for double-posting! but my friend just explained to me what was wrong, and he told me that (this is for anyone who gets this error) my MIDI/WAV volume needs to be max and that it was a bug eclipse had. sorry about double-posting again! xD

I'm not sure whether the give item or take item is what the NPC is doing or the player, if someone could describe how to setup a basic quest, and how to setup the NP Cs that correspond with the players (like ctrl on NPC then they start the quest) then I would be very happy because that is basically is what's going to keep my game going. Thanks to anyone who can help me!

my wish is for there to be a separate version of eclipse that you can make 2d side-scrollers,, and they would have some basic tile sheets that have completely sideways tiles (like maplestory). This is my wish! ;D

I need to know if anyone can make a source for me that allows players to walkthrough eachother and aswell as NPC's because I dont want to keep using walkthrough tiles since they don't allow NPC's to walk on the paths. I anyone could do this for me I would be very greatful, and I'll even make that person a Mod on my game PaperOnlineâ„¢ as long as the source code works! ;D Thanks

would it be illegal for me to post up lets say a game made with GameMakerâ„¢ as a Beta version for download, or am i only allowed to post up games made with eclipse? because i was thinking of taking the time to learn how to script so i could make my 2d sidescroller much better…xD ;D If not, then I will just use eclipse bcause I don't want to upset anyone on these forums!

i have to know how to make it so when people play my 2d side scroller (1pathway to walk on) they dont get caught behind each other and they could just walkthrough eachother, please..i really need to know what i can do to solve this issue, I WANT TO have 2ingle pathways and make it so other people can walk past each other, that way no one can block the path ways!!!!!! :P :-\

I have started making a 2d-sidescroller from eclipse, I was wondering if this is a good idea and would it work????. I dont think it would unless you made a script so you could walk through people but at the same time attack them, and also a gravity script, that way your character could jump…this would be a great idea for a Eclipse-made game if this was possible?!?.. ::)

I really need to know how i would set it up (like RealTyphoon on youtube) to where i point with the cursor on my map and the character walks there, because my game is going to be iso. if anyone can help me with this i would greatly and i mean GREATLY appreciate it. *also i need to know how along with the point and click system you could make it to where you character throws "ninja stars" or "ARROWS" and they go directly to the monster/opponent!?!?!?!!!!! thanks~
