  1. Great work! Can't wait to see the update and details.
  2. Thanks guys. I was only active for a while back in the day. I had little fewd with godlord that lasted a full 45minutes. It was the most inmature thing i've ever done and kinda got me a bad rep for a while haha. He was an awesome mod as well, and i tested some of his basic games after that. IDK what happened to him though, would love to get back in contact with him. He helped me out a lot while making my firt ecplise based game. I'll try to keep more active and make a name for myself here. Always been proud to be a part of this helpful, fun and awesome community.
  3. Hey everyone! Probably no one remembers me. It's been a few years since i've been currently active in this forum. It's good to be back! Hopefully development will start on a redux version of my Previous game. We plan on starting back uo in december. It's nice to see how eclipse has evolved over the years and how things have changed with both the site and the forum. I hope i get to see some familiar faces from the old days( old, ha!). Anyways nice to be back! Updates coming soon on AO, we will need everyone from mappers to coders to GMs. Thanks again guys! -Hullenheingh

  9. Which Visual Basic 6.0 version is more compatible with Origins? I know they all are but which one has more controls or is more flexible?(Enterprise,Pro or Regular Version)
  10. I feel your pain, i've been wanting my game online since 2006 and just a few days ago i realized it was the modem not the router hahaha :cheesy: Give the ISP thing a try ;)
  11. Thanks Soul! My bad for posting it in the wrong place :embarrassed:
  12. I posted a topic a few days ago explaining my port forwarding problems. I read all the info involving port forwarding, went trough every single step over an over again in the tutorials , searched for hours, tested the server for many more hours and i was still stuck withouth anyone being able to connect. Turns out that there is a solution and it's simple and awesome(may be the problem most people have). You do have to port forward your router but if you have a modem to router connection chances are that the modems ports need to be forwarded to the router. This is were your ISP comes in. Call your Internet Service Provider and ask them for customer service. I did this today and they guided me trough the interface in my modem so i could release the ports and manually open and close them in my routers interface( which almost all the tutorials in this forum explain in a simple and awesome way to do: port forwarding your router ). They released all the ports ( they say they forward them to the router so you have complete control over your servers and such, aparently it's recomended that you do this if running a server). If you don't want to do the forwarding(on the modem) manually they do it for you as well. I recomend this to everyone who's having port forwarding issues since customer service is supposed to help you with any internet issue(even though not all ISPs are the same) Anyways hope it helped! Thanks to all the Eclipse Team and Members who helped me with my previous topic and answered my noob questions(been here since 2006 and still only 35 posts hahaha). Here are the links to the port forwarding tutorials in this forum, i don't take credit for any of them just sharing the links(do this after opening the ports on your modem). 14. Just checked with PFPortChecker and it says Ping: We were not able to ping your router Port Check Result: Your port is NOT OPEN or not reachable! damm i thought it was correct… kinda frustrating
  15. Double checked the files and it is, same client i'm using to log into my network, Server port 7001, client port 7001, Client i sent has public ip. Did you see anything wrong with my screencap?
