  1. Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any 'oldschool' sprites & items laying around. I have a small collection built up but I know there are a lot more out there.     DoL Scraps

    When I first started doing artwork on Dawn of Light I went through a lot of trial and error, practice artwork, stuff that just didn't look right, old stuff that I have since completely redrawn and have no use for now etc. Instead of deleting the scraps I decided to just post them up here, I may not need it but one man's trash is another man's treasure - so here you go: ![](http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/6860/dolscrapsioz5.png)

  6. This isn't complete, I was hoping to get some feedback on the base character I created for Dawn of Light. I created him completely from scratch for 32x32 characters. Please point out anything that you see wrong with him, or what you would like to see changed about him. If I don't get any responses I'll take it that hes fine and go with it.   7. I downloaded the midi maker last night that Homicidal Monkey posted earlier & started to slowly teach myself how to read musical notes through trial and error. The link below is the what I came up with afterwards, but by the time I finished it, I think I learned enough to where I could do something a little better and less repetitive. Please check it out and let me know what you think, and if you like it by all means you may use it but please give credit. I also had an idea for the in game music, the main reason I was not planning on using it in DoL was because it is annoying to run through 3 areas and here the same music start and interrupt each time, so to make up for that, I can put a buffer entry on all of them, say 20 seconds, after the 20 seconds are up that means the player will most likely stay in that specific map for a while and I can ease the music in slowly so it's not a sudden start.
