Ah, I agree with Bone, if you can get a good group of people and a good place for airsoft, do it! Lots of socializing, lots of fun, what more could you ask for?

    Learning C++

Ironically, Marsh I'm working on C++ crap right now as well. Although I'm having a hard time finding where to start on things… Aside from that, might I ask why your game is named like the secret of mana super nintendo game? Haha, I miss that game.

Ha! Very nice gooey, Aydan :azn:
  4. Well what struck me as funny when I was first told I was going to be watching this daily was that it was going to be absolutely stupid news… Some of it is... But for the most part CNN does a good job on keeping the news at least somewhat interesting. So they have better stuff to show some days, heh
  5. Ok, currently I am taking a government class at my high school because… Well, I have to. :P And because I realized how little I actually knew about it. Anyways, one of the things we do in this class is watch the "CNN Student News" at the start of every class period. Every Friday this CNN show does a "shoutout", as they call it, to a specific school. And it just so happens that the shoutout for this friday ended up being for my class. I got a kick out of it :azn: http://cgi.cnn.com/studentnews/ Some may not find this as amusing as I did but hell, I didn't see it coming so for how random it was to me... It made my day haha! (If you watch it the shoutout is right in the middle of the segment, 5:30)
  6. That's no moon. *deep scary voice* Sorry I had to.
  7. ![](http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/8923/trollbridge.jpg) That's no troll! It's a walrus!
  8. Go to a local humane society… Rescue one.
  9. If it's a standardized test and you have paid attention you should be just fine ;)
  10. Well… One way to calm angry cats down is if they are clawing at your hands and such just wear a glove and let the cat go at it till it realizes it's useless. But just be sure not to disturb the kittens!
  11. That's what they look like to me. Uh… Might I suggest you thoroughly clean and steralize those before using them... I mean comon' you bought them off Ebay!
  12. Haha, Xeno as interesting as your ideas may sound I have to keep in mind that a good chunk of people coming into the club would not have a clue what a single word you just said meant. Hell, I know what you meant but I probably couldn't do it.
  13. Haha, Monkey boy I'm not sure if that made my day or pissed me off! Oh I like the LED idea you had but I'm not 100% sure how I would go about doing it.
  14. As much as I would love to do that… I have to take into consideration that some people joining the club may have no back ground in comp sci right off the bat. So one idea I had for a starter project would be either have everyone work together and put up a site for the club or perhaps start with a drive like project and see if we can get people to donate old parts and put together a few of our own machines. None the less I would love to make my own computer the way you mentioned. But to be honest that's probably even over my head.
  15. Well, it just so happens that my school district, one of the largest in Michigan does not have a computer science club. So I have took it upon myself to create one before the end of the school year. It's turning out to be pretty tricky (not that I didn't expect it to) and I'm a bit alone in the clubs creation at the moment… I had one friend who said he would be help but has failed as of right now. Anyways, I come to you guys in hopes of getting some ideas as to what my club could do. Because finding something to do for a club that is just starting is quite tricky to be honest. If you have any ideas or are actually in a computer science club and have some tips for me, all would be greatly appreciated! :cheesy:
  16. Heh, Oracle… You had me fooled :P

    Binary

Either you translate it by looking at the ASCII table or other said tables or you use a converter. And about the 8 bit thing, if you study further into binary you will find why it is typically broken into 8 bits. (It has to do with memory cells) But if you are just making numbers in binary it can be of any length just as our number system (base 10) can be, where as binary is simply (base 2). Hope this helps :P Oh totally forgot. Note that the 8 bits is 1 byte

    Binary

To convert binary into text all you do is reference it to an ASCII, UNICODE sheet, etc. All letters are really just numbers. http://www.asciitable.com/ As for making numbers like that, you just make the binary representation of it… It's no different then what you are doing now, you can have more than 8 bits.

    .Mkv to .Mp4

Well, I figured it all out. Weaseled my way out of having to pay by using multiple converters… One that took the .mkv and burnt the subtitles to the video instead of leaving them in the container file. Then used another converter built for the psp to convert the goofy mp4 I got out of the first converter and converted the file one last time into a psp compatible format... Well then, this thread was sort of silly, I used it to think to myself Haha! Oh well, if anyone else wants to know how to get matroska (.mkv) files to turn into .mp4 files and work on your psp with everything (video, audio, subs) intact feel free to ask.

    .Mkv to .Mp4

See, that's the problem Bob… I have found various converters but they do not support subtitle encoding thus leaves me out of luck. The only converts that I have seen work cost about 30 bucks, if I don't have to spend that 30 bucks I wont. ~~~~~~Edit: I might have found a solution to my problem. I'm another converter that already is showing signs of working… It actually identified the subs.~~~~~~ Edit 2: Scratch that, I got the video to convert into mp4 format with subs intact but now the psp does not recognize the mp4…

    .Mkv to .Mp4

I'm having a bit of an issue that I'm sure some else here has had… I am trying to convert .mkv video files into .mp4 files to play on my psp. I have been able to convert the video easy enough but the subtitles are no longer there after conversion. I surfed around for about an hour on Google and found bits and pieces of things as to how to keep the subs, but from what I saw the only way I'm going to be able to do this is by paying for something... Long story short, if someone can help me with this issue (without me having to pay) I would greatly appreciate it :) As for right now I'm off to bed so I will be on tomorrow afternoon to see if anyone was able to help. Thanks in advance!
