  1. Thank you James, we've already caught up to our old progress in term of development thanks to Whack, and we've only been in development for a week!

  3. For now Zesh is pretty much just helping out with one in-game feature. I'm going to close applications for programmers. I think we have enough help for that right now! Whack and Link as full time programmers, and Zesh as our spare time programmer. We do need Artists, so I'm updating the main post with new details!
  4. @Marak that's pretty decent! Well for now, we don't have a mapping team. I consider it a later role. As long as you're still keen when we're ready to get mappers, I'll take you :) @Vus Those are not bad, I can't really tell if RMXP tiles are just bad though, it doesn't shine like Marak's but it's probably because he's using Hanzo's tiles. Please spriters. I need help!

  6. We'll need Forest areas and a large town. Hanzo's Tilesets are a good practice :)
  7. @Vus Alright, will be nice. I have a plan on how mapping will go with the game. I need a mapping lead to plan out all the locations. I'll have most of the tile sets ready, but because we need specific/unique buildings, or decorations, the mappers can just use placeholders and make requests of what the sprite is required. Me or any future pixel artist will do it, add it to the sprite sheet and done!
  8. I don't like the way you used the trees, but good attempt. I'll keep you updated, when we need mappers, which should be in the coming weeks, I'll update the thread!

  10. @Marak we will need some soon. But mapping is a really important job, and it requires lots of design thinking and skill. Do you have a portfolio of any of your previous works you can show me?

  20. Amish will there at least be a scripting system? I mean its all fine and dandy that you plan on putting every single feature into one code base. But there will always be the problem of every game being the same feature wise. Eclipse Total (I think) thrived because there were actively people doing features in sadscript.
