I haven't looked but I doubt that's the solution to his problem. His problem is that whenever picScreen refreshes it shows up overtop of everything and it refreshes like every milisecond so I think you have to put the hp bars and whatnot on another form or something.

For those of you who want to download torrents at the same speed you download from your browser…
check out btaccel.com
basically they download the torrent for you, they have a fairly good speed internet. Then they provide you with a link to a direct download. and you can queue up as many torrents as you want as far as I know. -
question: why do you need a minimap? The game is small enough as it is, it's not like you have a massive 3d world like in wow… you can clearly see everything on the map already, a mini map is just wasted spaced on the screen

Yeah maybe just the brighter one. It just doesn't transition right from sand colors to purple haha but still, overall that's a professional looking job

the entrance to the cave in that one looks realllllly nice slym. maybe just don't use a purple shade though? i don't really like the purple.

Yeah if you're young that's understandable. You need a lottttt more time of drawing to get comfortable with anatomy and all that kind of stuff.
Cronus, freehand doesn't mean it shouldn't be precise… You can still draw something that looks just like a human or just like real armor from freehand.... -

I mean… not to sound rude or anything.... but it's just a bad drawing in itself unless your a fairly young person....
-bad shape for the head
-no neck
-shoulder pads come all the way to the neck?
-his right arm is just... scribble, I can't even make out a hand
-the tassets don't flare out at all, and it seems like they're glued to his thighs.
-the legs are just very... awkward and oddly turned/shaped/sized
-the blade of the spear is oddly shaped too. -

I don't think you realize how rude that sounds to everyone else.
Anyways….
lets see:
- gwen because we're just tight like that. and she's funny.
- anna, she had a mildly deep conversation with me.
- ninja, we talk a lot.
- Admiral, he's definitely super helpful and abnormally patient with noobs.
- Slym, only person whose graphics I find stunning and he was never rude about graphics.
- Unnown, one of the best programmers and willing to do things for you for free.
- HM, doing a lot of work for our community and the only person here that I know of that knows more about java than me.
- Marsh, without him, we wouldn't be here.
I think that sums it up. -
I have thought of that, but the thing is the person would have to draw all the different frames of the sprite =/

Haha, draken, a game with clay graphics does sound pretty sweet.
Dbz isn't dead, I just need a couple projects to stay motivated in life in general. One reason the sketch things came to mind was because I bring a sketchbook with me to work and I could pump out a ton of sketch graphics in one day whereas the computer graphics take a bit longer. As far as I know DBRoF is waiting for 3.0 but either way I definitely haven't quit that, like I said I just wan more to do. -
What are some unique game ideas you have? Something you haven't really seen before. Doesn't necessarily have to be an MMO or Eclipse based, just unique.
Two that I thought of today were along the same lines…
Sketchbook Warriors and Doodleworld
Sketchbook Warriors would basically be an enhanced Mybrute type of game with more player interaction and all of the graphics would be 2d, black and white, sketch styled art.
Doodleworld would use the same kind of graphics, 2d black and white sketches but it would be an MMO.
I'm trying to think of something that hasn't been done often or at all so I can make it. -
Seems ultra happy for a sprite that's part of a game called Fatal Mayhem.

King I find it funny how boisterous about your "150m" when you could easily post a screenshot to prove it, but you haven't. Even in the thread where people have been posting screenshots of their accounts…If you're gonna claim something that extraneous you should prove it.

For lineart, I love the fact that in photoshop you can click a pixel at one spot, and if you hold shift while you click another pixel, it draws a line between the two. IMO, best lineart tool.

I love his album. Originally I only heard Crack a bottle and We made you. But my friend recommended I get the entire album so I did and it's pretty sick there's only like 1 or 2 songs I don't care for.

It was really good. I think it's a good depiction of life in India, although I wouldn't know as I've never been over there, But I can imagine.

I'm pretty sure the gravity part isn't what's hard for people, it's the programming part for a good portion of people, and for another good portion it's the implementing it into this engine part.
