  1. I couldn't find an option to give NPCs more than one kind of drop, maybe I didn't look thoroughly enough… If its not there, then I suggest it. xD
  2. Quite nice, a lot of attention to detail but not too much stuff. I just don't like whats going on with the roof of the buildings, and the square paths and other areas could use some transitioning. Find a better tileset, perhaps.
  3. @ IceCream Tuesday, Yeah, I see what you mean, I guess I need a lot of practice, I'm not used to AA'ing things. It's too bad you don't like the older style, to his their own I suppose. @Bob Smith, Glad you like them :D

    Thoughts?

I forget what, but I think I used the magic wand tool to grab the bigger chunks of the background and cleaned the rest up with a brush and removed any clashing light pixels with the pen tool. There were 2 reasons for the thick stroke, 1 for making a clean transition with most any background sense its interlaced to be translucent with any background. 2 would be so it neatly comes together with the actual signature part that juts out, sort of like a sticker would be, one smooth "object" if you will.

I see what you mean, I was for the most part intentionally make the stroke thick to connect with the black box better, like a single entity, but maybe thinner would've been better. @[G2D] The rest would be: [http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/3017/273171-final_fantasy_tactics_a2_hume_black_mage_large.png](http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/3017/273171-final_fantasy_tactics_a2_hume_black_mage_large.png) [http://na.square-enix.com/ffta2/multimedia/judge_1280.jpg](http://na.square-enix.com/ffta2/multimedia/judge_1280.jpg)

Their images I found, edits in Photoshop on a lot of it, changing colors, backgrounds, cleaning up most of it to make it a proper render etc.
  7. I agree with everyone else.. it's really bright. It needs more of a grass texture rather than smooth and blurry.

Thoughts on my Avatar and Signature? If anyone here plays FFTA2 (or any FFT most likely) you should at least be able to recognize some of it. I made it when I realized that my Photoshop could interlace (it took me 2 years to notice.. durr) and wanted to break out of the usual rectangle signatures. I'm not 100% used to Photoshop and I'm no good at making interesting sigs with brushes and whatnot, so these are the kind of things that usually pop out of my head. The ava and sig in question, and if it needs to be part of my post too: ![](http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn167/Ichikami/book2.gif)![](http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn167/Ichikami/cutout7.png)
  9. Just some stuff I've done over the past year, their finished but your welcome to critic (even harsh, I'm used to it!) so I can better my skills for future work. I've never been able to do any superior work with Pixel art despite all my years of work, but I believe I'm getting better, so I hope you don't find these repulsing. D: (I'm my own worst critic..) AA (by hand) practice: [http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn167/Ichikami/sexysword.png](http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn167/Ichikami/sexysword.png) I wanted to detail this to make it a full sword, but I got intimidated by my own line-art and decided to practice my anti-aliasing skills on it. >_> Next, some items: [http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn167/Ichikami/Archangel.png](http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn167/Ichikami/Archangel.png) [http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn167/Ichikami/gluttonfalchion2.png](http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn167/Ichikami/gluttonfalchion2.png) First is my Arch Angels sword and the second one would be my Gluttons Falchion (It has a mouth and long tongue if you can't tell at first..) Next, compilation of stuff, tiles, items, sprites, paper-doll: [http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn167/Ichikami/summingitup.png](http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn167/Ichikami/summingitup.png) I'm pretty happy with everything I did here, was aiming for SNES style, because, well, I
  10. It's pretty good, but I think it suffers a bit from lack of contrast. (and anatomical errors if you want to get picky.. but that stuffs hard to learn) There's a lot of tutorials on the net that would probably help you with shading this so its a bit more shapely and robust. :D
  11. I believe their tiles from the same game, I've seen a lot of Silverdales tiles in the tilesets I have (750 tilesets rar I found digging in the resource section) Me as well,
  12. Thanks guys. @[G2D], I know what you mean, my internet is okay-speed and it even loads slow sometimes, I can't imagine what its like for anyone with worse internet.. But this is kind of my project, I'll see about making a spliced up version where you can view it in segments instead of all at once, hopefully that will ease some peoples connections.
  13. Thank you for the input, I've corrected everything you mentioned (I believe) I've updated the first post, sorry it took me a few days, I've been changing a few things around, mapping and editing certain tiles so it took me longer this time. The map now includes the beginning area (very top) and the first town, which I don't have a name for yet. I've recruited some mapping help from a friend of mine so the map is sure to expand much more rapidly now. Thanks for all the help and I hope to see more posts from everyone with their opinions and critic. :D
  14. I would play it, but a little bigger may be cool. Also, Photobucket converts BMPs to JPG, you need to upload it as PNG. o.o
  15. Free-hands fine so long as you place them accurately one by one, but the line tool is helpful. Also, I would suggest saving as PNG because Photobucket converts BMP images to JPG which distorts the pixels.
