  1. @Timmah: > I probably am. I will post back here with more details. I prefer E-mail if your actually interested. ([email protected])
  2. @Timmah: > So you are saying you will build a computer if we wanted one? Yes. Basically you just tell me the budget that you are working with and what your PC requires. I will find the best parts for the best prices that I can. After I've confirmed part compatibility You'll send me the money to order the parts, shipping, and my personal fee (usually $50-100) through paypal and I'll order, build, and ship the PC to you. As I said… Having a custom built PC is often cheaper than a store bought PC. I'll also load it with all the essential software as well as let you choose from a list of useful programs you want to come with it. Let me know if you're still interested :)

  6. hey… i just edited my original tut for port forwarding to actually incorporate a port forwarding tut *shocker* rather than just have the whole "i can help you with crossloop" thing. so i wanted to make sure i got the whole tutorial right. imageshack was having some problems and such earlier and i had to redo a lot. stop by the post [here](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,43447.0.html) and let me know if i screwed anything up. especially the whole DHCP/static IP section of it. thanks. also…. :icon_meditation:
  7. From the screenies the HM posted (and from what was previously mentioned) the iso format isn't "complete" as in its not all rendered in iso. Also having an iso game would require a different variation of tiles and sprites as well as possible diagonal movement support. basically iso=a lot of work 2d=win

  13. Hello Eclipse community. I just put this on craigslist for a job app and I decided to add it here as well. I thought some of you might want a new computer and if you don't know how to build one… then I thought I might be of some service. ----------------------------------------------------------- Basic Info: Name: Blake Hughes Location: Ohio Age: 16 e-mail: [email protected] About: I've been a computer enthusiast for about the past four years now. Almost everything I know is self-taught. I've modded my own PC to some extent and I've also done some html coding and regex (IRC) scripting before. I'm the person all of my friends come to when they need help with their computers weather its hardware or software based. Skills: My main skill in this case is computer upgrading or building a completely new PC. I built a gaming PC for my friend with a $1500 budget. This included a monitor, gaming keyboard and mouse, and a headset. He first went to Best Buy and for $1500 he found that the system they could give him had far lower performance parts. Upgrade costs via Best Buy would have cost him an additional $300-400. Besides... the PC I built him had shiny blue LEDs and a clear case... you can't beat the shiny blue LEDs... :p If you don't trust me building you a computer I can also pick out the parts for you to order and have a professional build it for you. Other skills: -HTML (front page, some dreamweaver) -regex (for IRC bots) -basic computer help -etc. Process: 1) Contact me regarding what you want via e-mail 2) I will create several PC builds under your specifications and budget (all items are selected at the cheapest prices that I can find, most are via NewEgg) 3) You now have 2 options: a) Pay for the system build layout only ($15) b) You send me the money and I will order and build your PC ($50 minimum build fee, Final price is determined based on PC type) 4) Considering trust is a main issue here (because of money), I will exchange personal information with you in order to help assure you that you could take legal action against me if necessary (and vice versa if necessary). 5) I will order your parts (sending you the tracking numbers for all of them) and notify you of when they arrive and when I begin building. 6) When your PC is finished I will ship it to you (you must pay for shipping costs). NOTES: ***I will only use PayPal for any money transactions. This is good for both of us since PayPal's system allows you to recover your money easily if you are scammed (WHICH YOU WILL NOT BE!!). ***All parts are bought band new. ***If I break or ruin anything or do anything wrong I will pay for it myself ***I would love to get a chance to build a high-end gaming PC. ***I consider myself to be trustworthy...but you probably don't. A PC is expensive, and You might not want to trust me doing this. All I can do is assure you that I'm trustworthy. ***I can overclock your PC if you want. ***I prefer building systems designed to run best with Windows or Linux. Contact: Feel free to ask any questions via e-mail ([email protected])
  14. basically this is a viral thing. or an advertisement. w/e it is its deffinately a puzzle. the wiki bruce has loads about it. the other site is the actual site. basically i think its from valve in some way and it has something to do with half life 3 (not episode 3, actual 3rd game) [WIKI BRUCE PAGE](http://wikibruce.com/2009/04/a-big-box-of-babel-research/) [WHATS IN THE BOX WEBSITE](http://whatsinthebox.nl) any guesses? ~symph
  15. @Cyprien: > Halo 1 & 2, Fable Lost Chapters, Elder Scrolls Morrowind, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2, Jet Set Radio Future, Half-Life 2, Ninja Gaiden Black > > Most of them are pretty good however some wont keep you playing for days. > > The xbox is a great system however it can't truly shine without unlocking some of it's power. It's media player is one of the best. never heard of that fable… and i didnt know jet set was out for it (i have the DC version :D). and HL2?! i dont think that the xbox can even run that XD
  16. @Hippoman: > multiplayer is teh WORST part! why is it the worst? the community makesd it suck sometimes. and halo 2 had a lot of modders. but halo 3 is way more secure.
  17. that sucks. …if u for whatever reason have an excess of cash i would reccomend u get 1 of the shiny new blue/black XNA DEVmode Xboxes :D ![](http://cache.g4tv.com/ImageDb3/141765_S/GDC-2009-Microsoft-Unveils-New-Xbox-360-SDK-And-Avatar-Capabilities-In-XNA-Game-Studio-31.jpg)
  18. @Hippoman: > pffft halo…i hate it. how come? it does have some cliches as far as sci-fi story building goes but the multiplayer is amazing.
  19. Halo Reach is ganna be a biggie. so is FFXII. and tha natal is amazing.
  20. Today at E3 microsoft made announcements about many new games and features in regards to the xbox 360. Summary: >modern warfare 2 (demo) >>>ice level, looked very nice, better GFX and the new concepts applied look fantastic. >tony hawk: ride (uses a new skateboard controller) >>>the new controller looks decent but they didnt show any actual use with it >guitar hero: beatles >>>just another GH game… whoopdie-doo >final fantasy XIII (release spring 1010, demo) >>>Square enix has been putting a lot of time into this, can't wait for it to release! >splintercell: conviction (demo) >>>im not a splintercell fan but this game looked amazing! >epic studio's xbla title, shadow complex (demo) >>>sidescroller shooter, looked okay but nothing "amazing" >halo 3 odst (demo) >>>looks pretty nice, you play as the rookie, you slowly find new items of interest throughout new mombossa. with each new piece discovered you go into a flashback of another odst and play as them. you slowly learn the truth behind mombossa (this takes place during halo 2) >Halo: reach (trailer) >>>secret bungie project, takes place on the planet reach. storyline follows that of the book "the fall of reach." >left 4 dead 2 (trailer) >>>looks nice. adapted a slightly cartoony look. think of half life 2 mixed with team fortress 2. i like it personally. its not too cartoony but it does have a slightly fake feel to it. it also has a crapload of more gore. yay blood! >crackdown 2 (trailer) >>>involved some type of alien. >forza motorsport 3 (demo) >>>looks amazing. >joy rider (avatar game) >>>looks dumb but it'll be free to gold members. >alan wake (demo) >>>basically its a horror game with narration. like its a story. >metal gear solid rising (coming to the 360) >>>WOOT! take that sony!! >Sky tv (uk and ireland only) >>>pretty sweet but not for US :( >facebook and twitter (fall 09) >>>its ok... i wish it had a browser tho >last.fm >>>listen to live streaming radio on xbox >project natal >>>motion sensing for the 360. if you thought the wii was cool... microsoft pretty much just perfected it. this is 100bajillion times better than the wii if it works. the prototype seemed glitchy but this thing can read ur entire body, remember voices, and so much more. all you have to do is stand in front of it and it recognizes you. lionhead made an amazing demo using it. they made the ai capable of simulating emotions based on your own. the ai responded and talked back to you and what you said based on how you said it. and this is all on the xbox 360!!! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/projectnatal/
  21. uhm… it was $450 when i got mine. i think that they are discontinuing them or something. im not sure. nowadays theyre $300-$350 i thinks o_O
  22. sweet. deff get the elite, you'll want the extra memory.
  23. @мсичġġεт: > Sure.. with admiral's face on it! ….no... i think i'm good with just the women :) ...i think anna's pic just pretty much steered us all off the edge of the topic cliff :p
  24. @Zetta: > 1 I believe. I still want to buy the huddie though. i'd ask you why you knew this but i think it'd be best for everyone if i didn't :p run-time error shirt > hoodie !!! :p I still think eclipse should have a store, but it has to actually have things that people would want to buy.
  25. I agree. I've been here since paperdoll was first introduced into eclipse (3.5 i believe) and i watched this all happen. It really started after TE released. A lot of new features were being added and EE was released soon after (way to drop a whole version name :p ). The features continued to pour in (big spells, 32x64 and 64x64 sprites, quest editor, etc.) and the bugs amounted so high that i actually quit using eclipse right after 2.5's release. the new engine was so buggy that it wasn't worth attempting to use. So i was pretty surprised to find that EE was still on 2.7 when i came back, but after d/l it i found that almost all of the bugs had been cleared up. I'm very happy to see Eclipse's progress and honestly I think that there should at least be a paypal donation link on the homepage or something for current Devs. (unless there is a way to donate to them and i havent seen it yet, i only know that you can donate to marsh for the hosting and whatnot). I also think that people on the forums deserve more praise and respect. Especially those who compile huge lists of resources and tutorials and actually make them organized and good. Its easy to find a tut or list on these forums. It's hard to find 1 done right. Ah… getting a bit off topic >_> Basically... I completely agree... so many people are just ignorant and inconsiderate. PRAISE BE TO HM! ...one last question in regards to the donations thing.... i'm assuming that the eclipse store died... (i never got a run-time error shirt *tear*)... so... did any1 ever buy one of the eclipse thongs? :p ~symph
