The girl would become declassé and everyone would avoid her and her family like the plague. Her parents would probably never talk to her again for what she did. I've seen it happen. It almost happened to me when it got out that I was studying Games Development - I just had to say it's a hobby and I'm not going to make a career of it. That's the way it has to be :/

Gathering opinions here. Last night I escorted a friend to her Debutante Ball, and the thought just sort of annoyed me. Is it morally right to display your daughter in such a way so that she could be married off to 'a suitable young Gentleman'? They send their daughters to whoever will marry them, like they're selling farm animals. They're limiting who their own daughters can marry, one mother went so far as to say that she 'wouldn't dare allow her daughter to marry someone out of our circle'. Having little say on who they're exposed to, surely it's the girl's own decision to marry whomever she loves and no-one else's?

Just watch it. Buy a balcony, don't think about it. I think it's a love or hate thing. If you don't feel it, you can learn to appreciate it, but it will never move you. Then there's those of us who really feel it, it stirs you. Especially Pas De Quatres from Lac De Cygnes. Four girls dancing perfectly in time, they're hypnotising. It's incredible how they can jump up and down and pirouette, fouetté, with no sound, simply the music - it's like they're causing the music from their dancing. TL;DR: I might be female.

Wait until your family has to go watch Swan Lake, Wagner's Ring Cycle and Madama Butterfly because your Father is the patron of the Opera House. Ironically enough I really enjoyed them. They're so dramatic and beautiful, I was close to tears. The music is truly incredible and the dancing just makes the whole spectacle so… otherworldly.

Oh, calm down, Robin, you'll give yourself a nosebleed. Like I said, it's still a concept, early days. I never said 'ZOMG NEARLY FINISHED LOLOL GONNA BE AWESUM!', just that I was doing some pixel art in preparation for it. What works for you, Robin, doesn't work for everyone else. I don't think I've seen a single one of your projects with graphics you made yourself, so don't be so quick to jump on other people for it.
