Well crap, I actually tried this one when it was open for testing, it was very promising and I quite enjoyed it… I also wonder why he left, sad times.

If it takes you such little time to produce this kind of work, perhaps heed everyone's advice and offer a package of some sort for free. Basic (yet unique) weapons/items and perhaps some blank logo templates to get your foot in the door, and allow people to get to see what you can do. I'd also recommend spending more time with your work, because no one is going to want to pay for any kind of graphics that took such little effort or care. Once you have done that, I'd re-evaluate your situation, then decide if it's a good time to start offering a service for a fee. $5 for 100 items isn't bad at all either, but people will always expect top-notch work before paying any form of currency.

I think they look quite nice…also the bigger hips make it more apparent that the character is female, it's more anatomically correct (of course, just my opinion). Also having more skin tones is nice as well, kudos.

Anytime I think of a gnome, I think of the travelocity garden gnome, and it just can't be helped lol.  This one is pretty neat imo, probably too cute for you, though!

That's pretty good! It's nice to see a different fountain for a change, and animated as well. Nice inspiration for sure.

I bought FFVI for my PS3 on the weekend, and it was like a timewarp for me. FFVI - Terra's Theme Could listen to it for hours. Edit: The orchestrated version is also very beautiful.

Nice, that house reminds me of Counter-Strike for some reason. I hope you'll post some more, it'd be nice to see.

I played the beta for a while, it was interesting. I enjoyed FFT so this was pretty reminiscent of that, the graphics are beautiful (they inspire me as well). I currently have too many game subs as it is, otherwise I'd probably play, unless it's free and I missed that.

Coming from someone who's new to pixel-art (and mine are pretty awful) my critique wouldn't be worth much, but the best advice I could give is to make your prototype's naked. It makes it much easier when you decide to cloth them. Xlithan said pretty much what I would, I am consulting several tutorials for shading guides and do's and don'ts for pixel art, who knew there were so many rules for pixel art eh!
