Re arranged things a bit. xD 

It's re sizeable. I'm pretty new to logo graphics and I was hoping on getting some tips on how to advance this logo from some basic text to an actual logo. So far all I've had are blunt comments on how bad it looks.

Thanks, I'm really not sure what to add. I'm looking for a cute pixely style but I can't think of any objects or backgrounds that would suite.

PIE all the way. Cake is just some sugar and flower decorate to look like something it's not. Pie is delicous and sophisticated. It takes true talent to create a lovely pie and yet anybody can cook cup cakes. Pork Pies are a perfect example of a pie equivalent to cup cakes. Pie can me fruity or meaty. A desert or a meal. I'd like to see you serve cake as a main course!
