  1. So if I'm reading this right…Willpower increases your healing spell and Inteligence increases your damage spells?

I'm in the same boat as you I only started looking at the coding a couple of weeks ago…I went to the tutorial section, found something simple (such as Ryokus real defence) and looked at how it worked and what exactly it was doing and then put it in the engine. Also Google is your friend on most learning things these days! But yes I would suggest backing up your game regularly.

  5. ~~If you're willing to wait I'll whip something up tonight as a tester to see if you like it. If you want a completely custom wizard it'll take a bit longer. Cutting and pasting is alot easier and quicker than painting a completely custom picture but I can do custom if you want :) Attached: See attached one of my paintings if you're interested in the custom idea!~~
  6. Do you have any specific pictures you would like? Better yet if you can find some example pictures of what you're after! And if you'd like to see some examples of my stuff then please feel free to ask.
  7. I think you should put some screenshots of what it actually looks like and the different features…All these different features give me the impression its going to be very cluttered and possibly even laggy.

A huge task I'm sure…I don't expect to be ready for it any time soon, I'm trying to work on little things and following tutorials, but you know there is something wrong when you mess up step by step guides lol! Perhaps once I'm ready and confident enough I'll ask again for more guidance so I don't mess it up completly!

Ok this is probably a huge task to ask and even attempt but is there anyway to make instanced areas so that only you/your team can enter and not have to queue and wait for another team to finish beating a boss before you can. If this is possible could someone point me in the right direction to making this possible?
  11. This is a great idea that I'll probably be implementing into my project! But a quick question/suggestion you may not have thought of…But is there a way to limit it to one use of the code per person so that people don't just spam and farm the items if say the code gave a rare expensive item. And a way to make unique codes for each person? For example Person A gets code for Big Bag of Gold and uses said code and then gives the code to Person B who uses it to get the item as well...That wouldn't be cool :(

  14. That would take alot of work as you're basically asking for the engine to do something completely different as to what it was designed to do. And I also think this would be more suited for the Questions & Answers section?

  16. This is probably a stupid question…And bare in mind I'm still learning this coding thing...But having now implemented this code I've thought of a question lol. Is this saying that the higher the players Endurance is then the higher the defence...So for example if an NPC was set to do 40 damage and you're shield is set to 10 damage and 10 endurance should it be deducting 20 damage? And is the damage deducting 100% of the time or just every other shot or what not?

    Tile set's

    Go into the admin panel…Go to Map...And click the tile of the tree you want then click on your map. You know about the 32x32 tiles? Is that what you mean?
  19. The one in that post is the most up to date version, it's really good as it is! I think 90% of people use it.

  21. Ah I didn't know about double clicking the key sorry I thought it just auto used it. And yes I did select the key to use, you can't place the tile unless you choose the key.
  22. That first weekend is going to be terrible but by LAWD I'm gonna be there slugging it out and getting in peoples way! I've got the work excuse planned already "Sorry I can't come into today I ate bad shrimp…." and then the following days will be "That shrimp must have been bad it's doing terrible things to me!"
  23. This may seem like a silly question but I've seen people do this before not just on here… But for the Interface/File not found problem...You did give them everything right? It can't hurt to double check.
  24. Then they need to install the run time files…You can either send the fresh RT files to them or give them the link to the downloads page here and get them to get it themselves.
