    Why?

We know that this is your personal project. Hell, some of the most _fun_ Eclipse games have been some of the visually worst, but through playing them you could tell how much love and care did go into them. And yours isn't even visually bad by any means!

If you _really_ want to find something to pick fault at with your current visuals (and this is me being superfluous), it'll be your mapping, not your graphics. The cute graphics are perfectly fine as they are. :>

That'll be the issue. In order to make your changes to a runnable program, you need to compile it.

Unfortunately, I can't provide a link to VB6 Enterprise/Professional (as it is technically proprietary software, however old it is), so you'll have to find it. You can find it on DreamSpark (if you're a student) or torrent sites.

Here is a tutorial that covers installing VB6 on Windows 10: http://blog.danbrust.net/2015/09/14/installing-visual-basic-studio-6-on-windows-10/

Make sure you get VB6 Enterprise/Professional, **not Portable**.

    > To be fair, your first post was pretty dickish. Don't be surprised when people are dickish back to you.

It's almost as if you didn't read my response.
"If you see a response like mine, (ie. you the presenter, me the critic) you're supposed to grate your teeth […]"

    @'Abyss':

    > However, you do have a point in this post here. Why didnt you post this in the first place?

Because I thought it was quite obvious. Apparently not.

This response alone tells me you're not mature enough to administrate a forum.

If you see a response like mine, (ie. you the presenter, me the critic) you're supposed to grate your teeth and either answer why I'm wrong making comprehensive points or ask why I feel like that so I could have potentially provided feedback as to why I believe that.

The simple fact is this: there are already a few popular Pokémon forums (Serebii, Smogon, Pokecommunity), so there's already very little needs to be filled that an additional fan forum can provide. Combine this with the fact that there are tons of Pokémon fan forums (consisting of an active userbase of roughly 3 members), and you'll very quickly see that without offering something considerable to topple the big forums, you won't get much.

As it stands, your forum offers me no reason to not use Smogon.

You, uh, completely missed my point.

There's no information on what the programmer/artist would be required to do, if at least, initially. What systems should the programmer be expecting to make first? What graphics are needed? That kind of thing.
  6. Here, I generated a cyrillic font set. Take a backup of your fonts folder and try it out. It might not work, but eh, this is uncharted territory.

    > Nah man. You guys get trolled by me, I usually post things knowing people are going to try to troll me. I had my fun and done with it from the past couple of years. I typically say stupid things just to stir the pot and know very well, that the trolls will come. It is funny to me doing this, but I will quit it since it really serves me no more purpose anymore.

  8. Looking at the proposed layout, some things

    * Shorten Announcements, News & Releases to Announcements* Site Feedback shouldn't be its own subforum. We have thread tags for that.* Events doesn't need to be its own forum, we have Announcements for that.* Community Content can be consolidated to one forum, again, we have thread tags for specifics.* WIPs/Active Projects do not need to be there own subforums. I do agree that Active Projects should get some form of prioritised display.* Guess what I'm about to say for the Talent Center subforums.* Does a Minecraft Server really require its own category? It can easily just be a sticky in the Video Games forum, no?

The less total categories/forums, the better.

EDIT: Revised it to this. Take it for what you will. With this, it still retains organisation but everything a user could want is accessible from the front page.
As a side-note, personally, I'd be partial to obliterating half the language boards as some are inactive, but eh.

And take a look to the post that it jumps to in the thread:

How am I wrong or trolling when I never even attempted to answer the question and instead told them to not necropost?
